I am so afraid. I think I have this. They did a MRI they will give the results this Thursday. I would like to know where this doctor is located? At least he knows about this. When I told my primary doctor and three neurologists about my symptoms which are sweating on one side of my face, dropping my eye lid and numbing my arm . These doctors said they have never heard about. I did my own research and little by little I ended up with this. First Horner’s syndrome and now this tumor.

@@eshasaini6374 thanks for asking. After I received the results thanks to my GOD the pulmonologist didn’t find any tumor. I showed the results to my primary doctor and the neurologist. The three of them have told me that nothing was wrong.
So I still have the symptoms, the neurologist told me that this condition could be generic, something that comes from family, but nobody from my family have never had these symptoms.
The doctor suggested to come back if I develop any new symptom.

@@Sandro-qq4xb hi, Sandro actually there is something else, it’s something related with feelings, like when something happen and I feel like I want to cry it could be due to something sad I see in tv, sad situations with family you know... that’s when the right side of my face sweat and my left side doesn’t. I realized my right side is affected like when I do exercises this side doesn’t sweat, with emotions it sweat and the droopy eye lid, other than that nothing.

Oh dear, I hope this is not what I have but my doctor said she found 3.7cm mass on the upper corner of my left lung. I’ve also been going through physical therapy because I have shoulder/shoulder blade pain that goes through my arms/fingers. My doctor thought it was coming from my neck or back. Now I have constant chest pains.
I will have a Pet Scan on March 16th @ NYU. If this is what I have, I wish Dr. Vallières could treat me🙏🏼 He’s so knowledgeable, talented, skilled with a warm, calm demeanor.
My daughter is getting married next year & also graduating vet school. My other daughter (her twin) will graduate med school. I want to be there for my girls milestone celebrations. I raised them as a single mom😢
Hi Katrina, I hope you don't have a pancoast tumor. If you do you should be in good hands. Actually, lung cancer's best weapon is to go undetected but pancoast tumors cause enough pain to be detected early enough to have better cure rates than the rest of lung cancers. FYI, the chief of clinical thoracic surgery at NYU Langone, Dr. Robert Cerfolio is a world renowned pancoast tumor surgeon. He practiced literally down the street from our house when my husband was diagnosed with a pancoast tumor. Hope you don't have cancer.
A PET/CT is the right next move...after PT that didn't help...right? Keep us posted.

Had this chemo radiation surgery...still in recovery month later pretty sore
Marvin, it's good to hear that you've completed treatment. My husband had curative chemo/rads for a pancoast tumor 12 years ago. He also had surgery but that wasn't to try to rangle the tumor from his chestwall but just to get a biopsy (I'm still reel over that last bit). He is doing well these days. Pretty sore is good a month after resection of a pancoast tumor. Congrats!

did you go to a doctor? do you have this tumor?
My sister (61 years) has pancoast tumor on her left lung. Diagnosed April 2017. She had the initial 6 week treatment of concurrent radiation and chemotherapy. Apparently the tumour had shrunk but not enough for surgery. She had more scans every 2 months and each time the tumour had reduced. Still not enough for surgery. Wondering what other options she has or is it always possible to operate?

I've had two chest x-rays and blood work done, they spot it right? I've had all these symptons and they have progressed to where my shoulder blade hurts and now my arm.
I went to the ER sand they said I probably just pinched a nerve.

Can both of you please explain symptoms as much as u can . I do appreciate it. I'm not sure if I have this r shoulder knots . Very hard to breathe
@@tbaby5650 I had a cough that gradually got worse I didn’t notice as I had a cough from stopping smoking 21 years beforehand.
Then I had a pain in my shoulder blade that felt muscular it felt better when it was rubbed. Later on when I got my hubby to rub it it was painful then a week or so later sharp pain ran under my rib not where the tumour was so I thought it was a heart condition. Two days later was admitted to hospital where they found the tumour on my top right lung .
Up to that point I didn’t have many symptoms at all.
If you are worried get it checked as soon as you can the sooner the better. Xx

I would still get it checked out a simple X-ray can show things up that’s what happened with me.
