I’ve never driven the Elantra N but I have a Kona N, and I find it to be more fun than my M4. I adore that car. For $32k I can’t believe how fun it is.
Glad you 12:26 enjoy it but for me a performance vehicle is not a SUV but a car.
@@chemjam92 I also have a Kona N and I took it to 157 mph on a tollroad--not many cars can do 155 plus and get 30mpg if u drive it normal,.
Center of gravity is too high
@@Young_Bourdain it was only .2 seconds slower then the elantra n at rd atlanta--I will take the ride height over worrying when my front lower lip of my car is gonna get destroyed or scuffed up
@@khroninorry but an SUV will never have the dynamics of a true sports car. If I want performance, an SUV ain’t it. Also, the Kona has barely any more ground clearance than a standard car. That’s a weak argument.
I wish my wife would like this car. I have the N-line 6 speed and I love it. Can't imagine how the N will feel!
Such a fun video! I've ordered this car and it's coming later this year. I'm obsessed and can't wait
Love my EN! One of the reasons I went with the N over the GR86 I almost got was the fact that I have a family. We also have my wife's SUV but it's nice that we can all fit into both of our vehicles.
I have been waiting for you to do a video on this car. Although I would’ve preferred you do a video on the manual since that’s what I’m planning on buying. They are very difficult to find and luckily I’m not in a hurry. I enjoy watching your videos, and this one is good too, however,I feel you missed an opportunity to talk about the exhaust note. That’s one of the reasons I want to buy one!
You all driving in the San Bernardino mountains? That’s my old home town. I also have an Elantra N-Line and I love it. Thanks for the video!
Great review as always!😸
Thanks for the sunday morning laugh. I do need to replace my temporary $7 sunglasses from Dollar General store. 😅 I broke my nice ones last week.
Base Price of the Elantra N $32,900 manual
Price of my favorite Flying Eyes Sunglasses $219.00
Price of a blipshift t-shirt $18.00
Looks on Evie’s face during the driving part of this review…………priceless!!!!! :)

Great review! Please please please review the Kona N if you haven’t already.
Fun review: lunch control, crotch sunglasses, Evie-approved styling and driving approachability, and kiddo’s style had me thinking Rainbow Brite (in a good way). Must watch! 👍
When I'm starving I can't control myself at lunch, so it's nice to see this car has lunch control!
This review keep me smiling. ^^
Based on Evie's expression during launch control, Hyundai might need to add an additional safety feature - sphincter control!
Sold they got me with the light up N logos on the seat
Evie is so cool and laid back❤, oh yeah Micah's cool too
I caught myself clapping along when sweetie did the launch control. 😂❤
I love this car. I'd definitely daily drive it. It looks so good in white. I much prefer the look of the front fascia on this to the one on the newer version though.
Also, you didn't mention the cool sounding pops and bangs in N mode. 😊
Despite mine currently being in for a new DCT. My favorite car.
I will be first in line at my local Hyundai dealership when the 2024 is available for order. Cyber grey, manual.
Hi from Sydney - just realised u started your own channel! Subscribe straight away!
That circle thats on the left is where the drive mode button used to be on the other models
The fact that the child is not vomiting while Micah shreds the canyons is a miracle 😂
I saw an Elantra Yellow cab. The coolest looking cab ever seen.
This Hyundai Elantra is perfect for a family of five people who can sit comfortably however you mentioned in this review about the gt corolla that even though the Corrola has a little bit high range of hp and torque but they haven't provided sufficient amenities for a car but Elantra price is best common people can use this car seats are comfortable 276 hp and 289 lb-ft pound-feet torque that 8-speed dual-clutch transmission this is a snappy car I will give 5 stars to this car thanks
The Style Circle area looks like digital side view cam screen for countries that don't ban it.
The “N” is for naughty lol. I love the husband wife review with u two you can tell u guys are really happy together brightens my day at least lol
Do you have a GLI 6MT or DCT video coming soon?
Looks like a fun car for Lake Arrowhead twisties
Saludos desde Venezuela 🇻🇪
Evie's hair is the star of this video as Micah drives lol
How is the DCT for daily commuting? The same DCT in Sonata/K5 has really poor review for slow & stop/go traffic
I can’t remember where I saw it but someone said you actually can’t use the pass through a for a harness on the seat they’re simply there for looks
It's wild to me that Hyundais have dual clutch transmissions and BMW M cars have torque-converter automatics lol
BMW got lazy and wants to use the zf8 for everything since it scales for awd on their larger m cars. it also upshifts faster than the old m dct too.
*Is it possible to change the steering wheel for a sporty one?* 🤔
Getting a hole family's impression of a car is good other than just a presenter. Good job
Hope you test a ‘23 Nissan Altima 2.0 VC-T. I bought one a few months ago in Gray Sky Pearl.

It's drama free as a daily with 18' wheels. Wish my stock 19' didn't have a blow from small pothole, days before I was going to take it to the track for the first time. I'm now running on my 18' snow tires till I get it fixed.
drama free? more comfortable on 18s?
@@mharro88 4S on 19th are awesome for performance. Perfect for weekend track use (while essentially getting it for free with new car purchase). For Daily, aftermarket 18th is a must.
@@psewgobind don't 18s just kill all the performance then? Do you still get feedback and good turnin? Road noise must be better?
@@mharro88 Not as good, but far from 'killing' the car's ability. I'm getting tired of waiting on the dealership, so I'm considering taking those 245/40/18 Kumho to the track. They're still good enough to be fun (one hot lap at a time).
ohh the revised front looks way better.
The only thing I don't like about this car is the rear end. To me it narrows down a little too much but that's a problem I have with all Hyundai/Genesis products
Thank you for being honest about the driving experience. I want a manual Elantra but not with all the sport garbage on it. I would like to know if the muffler seats, tires, suspension, can all be swapped with a stock Elantra and have that crossbar removed from the trunk. Delete the red trim and calipers paint those black. Then you might have a nice car. Not everyone wants a sports car that wants a manual transmission. After a hard day's work the last thing, I want is a suspension that makes me pay for every pothole I already paid to have filled in but wasn't. Hyundai really needs to get their heads out of their asses. Same with Toyota and Honda, I am not a child I do not want a hatchback.
Have been jonesing to swap my GTI......while the Golf R, Type R, and GR Corolla are up there, but pricey when this amazing sounding Elantra is 5-10k and a longer warranty.
Doooo eetttt!!!
@@porfiriato84 Kind of cool to be spoiled for choice, came close to getting the GR Corolla, but tbh, I want the Core more than the Circuit, that CF roof is a bit showy. Other option is to mod the Mk7 GTI, according to the Carmugdeon Show rear sway bar, engines and good tires, does a lot.
In my opinion, the Hyundai N cars looks generic. It really is trying too hard. Keep your hot hatch and safely mod it. No need to buy a shiny NEW car. I'm not going to touch on reliability as both aren't.
@@jev2867 hyundai n cars are very reliable
Regarding the "style circle", from what I saw in another video, they have a similar spot in the new Sonata that's used as a fingerprint reader. I don't know if this one was ever supposed to be that, but it makes no sense as it is.
The 2024 Elantra N will also have the fingerprint reader function
@@porfiriato84 no it wont, its still a circle
I just bought a 2023 Elantra N-Line, and it actually has a drive mode button where the Style circle is. Surprised it's not on the N!
Same.
The N has the on the steering wheel so it's redundant
@@paulklp8262 Yeah that makes sense
I’m in Florida boca raten and it is a very top car in Florida
Not a fan of the looks but as a newly family man i think this the only affordable fun car in my situation. I'm getting bored of driving my wife's 2013 4cyl accord. I bought her a Honda passport after we had kids (twins) . Looking for something fun to drive that's still practical enough to easily put 2 baby seats in the back and a decent auto in case the wife drives it. Since she can't drive a manual
holy sponsor shoutouts lmao
amazing car

How tall is this guy? I’m 6’2 and will have a car seat in the back will my family fit? Looking for something fun but can also pick the baby up in
Not a fan of the current front and rear end but the facelift looks great to me! Can’t wait to see them around.
I own an Elantra N and a 2023 manual Supra and besides the Supra being a lot faster, everything else about the N is more fun.
When she's doing launch control she's like ummm I don't wanna do this
Crotch glasses! 😄😎
My question is whether the ride is rough on this
its smooth
Is this more fun to drive than a g70 ?
Yes
of course
NGS: No Go Slow!?😁
Do you guys ever fight making videos?
We definitely have disagreements. But we always try our best to be kind to each other.
They made it look like a kids car all riced out from the factory.
I owned a 2022 Elantra N for a year before I traded it in for a 2023 GTI. The Elantra N drives extremely well and is a ton of fun. However, the seats get extremely uncomfortable on longer road trips, some lumbar support adjustment could maybe fix this and there wasn't enough shoulder room for my 6'3" frame. Another note, build quality is pretty garbage, the side skirts will crack if you live in a colder climate (Maine for me). The red painted plastic on the lower trim is extremely thin and weak. Also, the exterior window trim has also been known to start peeling as it's just a vinyl wrap from factory to give it a gloss black look.
lol you traded it for a gti? how boring. the interior in the n is way better ergonomicaly than the golf shithouse infotainment
This is the comment I needed. The Elantra-N is nice in terms of price to performance ratio but other than that its just pretty average
@@fightnight14 how's it average when it competes with the Honda type r in performance and objectively on track? Also beats out the golf r and corolla GR in lap times.
@@mharro88 I said the performance is there but anything else is meh
Lol quite the fanboy mharro see you in every reply here. Passion is fine but your definitely biased
Great - a boy racer's Hyundai, thrilling....
3 time tcr champions
the kid in the back looks like she's about to throw up lol
I'm whiffling between this and a Chevy SS as my daily lmao
Insert Honda and BMW and Subaru suck bois who will completely deny this car is actually more fun to drive than their cars. KDM is on the rise. Love my elantra N approaching 14k miles and just bought a stage 2 tune for it😈 I’ll be dusting some of those mentioned above cars in no time. (Unless they’re super builds with 500-700 horsepower lol)
Hyundai/Kia’s overall ownership experience is very lackluster at best.
I own a Lexus and a Hyundai. Your perception is incorrect.
@@CapELarry Owned both too and rather than compare our personal opinions just look at any of the ownership rankings.
@@edhcb9359 i had better ownership with recent hyundais than bmw
too expensive
I can't watch the whole video w all the promos. 😠
Only time I laughed was the promo crotch glasses part. Praise the promo! :P
The colour is meh🥴
Hmm, kind of a ugly exterior but the interior looks great.
Reminder, my brother say's engine go boom...it's not a Toyota.
Sorry, but I find the Elantra N to be very ugly and boy racer looking. Only thing worse looking is the FK8 Civic Type R. Great to drive but horrible to look at.
That thing is waaay uglier than the civic type R 😖
And yet it's just as good performance wise for half the price! Plus that exhaust sound is 200 times better
Not quite as good in performance, lower horsepower, less torque, and worse chassis but yes less expensive.
The newer Type R actually looks much better than the last version, the last version looked like a car ninja turtle would drive
this is a much better value for your money performance/fun wise, but Im also not going to spend this much money on a car I dont want to look at
@@porfiriato84 and then you get pulled over by certain california cops for it lmao
