    I just bought a 2024 1794 with a TRD package. I love it. I got the silver metalic with black rims. almost 8 k under msrp here on sale. I feel i got a very good deal The screen is so snappy and the software is extremely responsive and well done. Now I gotta go find some man stuff to do with it like camping and hunting.

      Curious what you paid. Looking at 1794 without TRD package, but has safe, running boards , heads up display, sunroof, limited premium package, limited power package, bedstep. Dealer says $64,897 before tax for this one. I like TRD but likely adds another $3500

    • @9000ryguy
      @9000ryguy Před 8 měsíci

      Mine was 66500 about. I think it was a good deal. The sticker price was about 73k with the added options. Mine doesn't have the heads up display. That is kind of a cool feature. Wasn't a must for me, but it would have been a nice thing. No bedstep as well... The TRD package that was added to mine raised the sticker price by about 4300 if I remember. Its lifted, has upgraded suspension, rims, with other cosmetics, crawl mode ect. The silver was kind of an impulse decision to me but the rest of it was well thought out. After having it about a month though I don't regret the silver at all. I knew I wanted to avoid some trendy colors even though sometimes that brown they make looks so nice to me. I also love the sound system. Its very good. I'm still finding some things here and there that it does.
      Biggest complaint, 66000+ for a vehicle and no remote start on the key fab? Are you kidding? I have to use an app to start my truck in the winter? And the app is clunky as hell and is extremely slow. It takes 3 minutes of waiting to load until it will recieve the command to start. And then toyota wants you to pay for a subscription for that feature after a free 1 year trial or something? Cmon remote starts have worked without subscriptions for the past 20 years. @@JohnBrown-ev6es

      I used that side button all the time, and they do have a tailgate button. The difference is when u use the side button, u dont have to run off when the tail gate goes down.

    Price tag on that truck is $70-77k… that’s the most “American” part about this truck. The fact it’s so expensive, the average person cannot realistically afford it.

      I have a 2024 tundra. I have noticed a few times on the highway that wind noise has been much louder than expected. I can't hear it over the stereo though which is always turned up and really kicks :) No rattles yet though.
      I'm coming from a Hyundai Sonata 2012 with 200,000 miles so I'm not sure how to compare the wind noise. Are all trucks a little louder? Probably? So I'm not sure how it compares to other trucks.

    Price is a sticking point. I could afford one out of my retirement money but still not happy with price. Last truck I bought was less than half the price with V- 8 Hemi. I only buy stripped trucks. Don't want all the electronics. It all crap I don't need and it all starts having problems at about 140, 000 miles.

    Oh by the way I paid only 56K for my brand new Silverado. Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is much better than the Tundra.
    The President and the CEO of Toyota need to look into this. They lose a lot of sales right now. And Toyota dealership jacking up more than 5 thousand dollars. And don’t have any vehicles on the lot. That is very bad what Toyota did.
