Thank you so much for posting this. My sister and I used to see this house from the motorway during the 1960's / 1970's. The house looked as though it was subsiding, and in recent years it has disappeared from view due to the growing trees and shrubbery. We thought it long demolished, but I am delighted to see it is still there.
I’m here right now and the building and grounds are clearly made from quality materials. There is a well and some exotic trees too. However as can be seen by the broken bottles and spray paint this has been a hang out for the neds for some time.
Just as a wee note of interest the cottage chimney is huge because it’s connected to the coal central heating in the mausoleum. The last keepers wife lived there until 1966ish.
They wont save it cause nobody is brave enough to stay there as the surrounding woods are full a drunks and and gays doggin feckin shame but true, ruining the park next door too.i stayed 5mins from this building when younger its just a shame how things are nowadays.
I so hate to see history destroyed , it breaks my heart 💔 , I would have no problem living the , ghost and lost souls need attention and love too , and my 12 gauge would take care of the gays and gangs , it's not the dead that you need to fear , it's the living , maybe I'll find a Highlander like Jamie 💕 . 😘☮️💕

Even in this state, you can see the beauty in this wee building.

Beautiful building.
It will bring a tear to your eye
A lovely building still. It would be great if it is saved and fixed up.
I wish the council would take it over...I'm sure people would visit and pay to see around it..
