THEME: WHY DID JESUS DIE ON THE CROSS FOR YOU AND ME?
GOD'S GREAT LOVE FOR US THAT HE SENT HIS SON JESUS DOWN TO SAVE US
1) KENESE/ GENESIS 3:15
- This is the purpose that Jesus came down on earth. To crush the snake's head

- Sin entered from the beginning, during Adam & Eve

- We were condemned & Jesus has taken this away by dying on the Cross. He has set us free from the Devil.
THE PLAN WAS SET FROM THE BEGINNING

- The plan was set from the beginning for Jesus to come down onto Earth

* LIFE & JUDGEMENT
- Sin had caused spiritual death when Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Jesus saved us from Spiritual Death and created a gateway to Everlasting life.
2) II KORINITO/ 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17-19
* RECONCILED THE BOND BETWEEN MAN & GOD
- Adam & Eve broke the bond between God and Man but through Jesus dying on the cross for our sins we are no longer enemies to God. We were renewed and reconciled with God.

- God banished Adam & Eve out of the Garden of Eden (Tree of Knowledge & Life) and away from the Glory of God
3) IOANE/ JOHN 6:54
* JESUS IS THE TREE OF LIFE
- Jesus allowed us to eat from the Tree of Life again as he became the Tree of Life. Through Holy Communion, eating His body and His blood will give us everlasting life.

- We can now approach God's throne in confidence through his Mercy and Grace.

- Reminds us that even if we die we can still boldly stand in confidence that we will live an everlasting life at the Throne of God. The main purposes in this life is to die with Jesus Christ in our hearts.

- From fallen man to sons and daughters of God through the Death of Jesus Christ to a priesthood to a royal reign living like royalty in Heaven with Jesus Forever.
