- Hey sub family, Removing the Factory car stereo in Your kia spectra is very easy & straight forward. My Step-by-step video will help you complete this task! Here are the procedures for a 2004-2009 Kia Spectra Ex Sedan 4-Door 2.0L, This is the Removal & installation Process. FIRST Step Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. SECOND Step Remove the center facia panel by using a Dash removal tool & that's demonstrated in My step-by-step video. THIRD Step Remove the connectors behind the Facia panel. FOURTH Step Remove all [4] mounting screws then remove the audio unit assembly. FIFTH Step Installation is the reverse of removal.
