agreed finney is a dawg, going back to jones county HS in Georgia. played against him in football. Absolute savage. doesn’t take losing lightly, this will motivate him.
Him not signing Torrez was ridiculous. He dominated. He was great on the mic as well. Last week Dana signed a guy that lost and hot his rear handed to him. "I have a feeling about this guy."
Dominated the second round. He got rocked 2 times in the first, just happened to get lucky his grappling saved him. Not a bad decision to keep him out.

But 185 is stacked with strikers, that can wrestle. He needs for time to settle down. He was too anxious.

Everytime Dana says its to early to bring someone into the UFC i am so confused... I mean they read who is fighting before an event and there is the possibility that the 24 year old kid with only 6 fights wins ... so whats the point ? They know everything beforehand.. So the unexperienced fighter can only lose ... if he wins he should gain more experience , if he loses he loses... this doesnt make any sence at all lol

Call me petty, but tonight I heard a commentator brag that DWCS brings in more signed contracts than any other event. ...NO SH*T! Each card is 90% fighters you're already interested in, and the other 10% are tomato cans you brought in so you could showcase a fighter you already KNOW you're going to sign. I'm not knocking the concept of the show, but that's a stupid fact, not a fun fact. Kinda seems like a slap in the face of the smaller orgs who help these guys get their feet wet. And whichever of those orgs is producing the most contestants on DWCS actually deserves the trophy you've given yourselves.
What you’re saying just isn’t true though. Underdogs have been winning half the fights on the show. It isn’t just obvious favorites dominating, the fights are toss-ups.

@DanielDurham121 If I'm saying 90% of the fighters on the show are already prospects, that means I'm saying roughly 45% of them are dogs that the UFC is STILL interested in. Somebody has to be the dog. In other words, we pretty much agree about that part, but you're also telling me that what we agree on is untrue, lol. Do you disagree that some small percentage of them are brought in to showcase an obvious favorite and maybe pad their records a bit for marketing purposes? We'll agree to disagree on that.
And to whichever cat up there that said I don't understand the fight game.. that would be sad if true, all things considered. But it seems more likely that you don't understand the English language or percentages. Or you're simply a fan boy in denial about some of the more lame aspects of the "fight game 🤓".

I thought if you won by a method like sub or KO you were a lock for a contract. It’s kinda misleading to see someone get the sub and still be denied a contract when Dana took 2 fight losers a couple weeks ago. I understand if it was a decision victory but Finney I thought really showed a good game and some versatility
Finney couldn't strike. Sending him into the UFC would do him a disservice, that's what dana was saying. He took alot of damage in that fight, finny got hit by huge shots, hes just a tank
