That's an amazing room! It's actually a pretty good deal considering how its the cost of a large accommodation + transportation for 2 people from Osaka to Ehime!

私もオレンジフェリーでデラックスシングルをちょいちょい利用させてもらってますが、
8時間の瀬戸内航路にしては勿体ない程の船内設備とサービスだと思います。
それにも増して、ロイヤルスイートがこんな贅沢仕様とは思ってもいませんでした。
片道ではもの足りずそのまま滞在して往復したい位ぐらいです…😅

Ships' ropes are surprisingly heavy, especially after being dropped in the sea. I like the gun-launcher for throwing the rope, but by hand is best! An annual, all-Japan rope throwing contest for the ferry companies would be great fun and good publicity! 🙂
I always find it interesting that there are so many different ways to just throw a rope to shore. If there is ever a competition to see who throws the rope better, I will definitely be there to watch lol.
The best moment for me is seeing you giving a new home to a sparrow. Lovely regards from Cologne Germany 😀

Very nice video. The flag raising at dawn was a nice touch.
The reason so many pull the rope is yes it’s very heavy of dead weight mixed with water but also it’s safer. Many people caring the load means it’s less likely to pull someone off the dock. Like firemen controlling the firehouse you never do it alone.
