If you bring an old derelict trap to the boat launch and leave it there, you might want to report it at that point. They can look up the owner from the numbers on the trap.
I agree with what has been said!!! All you did was pulp up someone's gear. You did not justify why you did what you did in any of the instances???? Do you just go around and indiscriminately start pulling up gear and call it derelict?Why did you pull it up? What led you to believe it was abandoned or derelict to begin with? How do you know the owner just doesn't operate like that? What was wrong with the floating line? Polypropylene floats is that the wrong kind of line to use? Very poorly done video!!!!!
