What an amazing show! I hope that Netflix renew it for a second season or, at least, the characters appear in the next season of Sandman.

I fully agree, I'm gonna be sooo heartbroken if there's no season 2. I keep hearing that it's not looking good rn... I just wish for it so much.
@@lumae8216 people are very on edge after what happened to other Young Adult shows at netflix.... I have hope that Netflix sees the potential of expanding their Sandman Universe and wants to do some brand name repairing by renewing this show and proving they can follow up

edwin’s story is so sad. he went through so much both before and after death, and still bounces back.
just getting a glimpse into his hell and imagining that for years gave me chills. not to mention his internal struggle and yearning for charles

This is gonna sound really weird, but I like it when Edwin curses. I think it’s because he doesn’t do it often probably because of when he grew up and propriety. So when he does slip and curses there is something so visceral about it.
YESS!!! I always love a video dedicated to our dear Edwin Payne!
At the beginning Edwin may seem very stoic and hard-headed because he’s a more logical person.
But you can see there were some moments you can see he became so vulnerable, for example
1) his outburst towards Crystal at the butcher shop where when he died, it didn’t matter
2) when Charles hugged Edwin and Edwin felt something moved in his heart even though ghosts can’t really “feel” anything
3) when he was captured by Teeth Face and there was a moment where Charles held his hand, Edwin’s expression was just vulnerable and pure
4) when he was dragged to hell and got ripped apart so many times that he starts to feel helpless
5) his encounter with Despair, it was quite cryptic but it’s worrying that Despair said she’s friends with Edwin now
6) when at the most vulnerable moment in hell, he had the courage to confess to Charles but Charles was unable to reciprocate
7) when he was tortured by Esther on the table and he kept screaming in pain and agony
8) when his close friend Niko, who was a safe space for Edwin to be open about himself, died right in front of him
And this is not the full list of the tragedies and pains he suffered and endured after a hundred years. George Rexstrew plays Edwin flawlessly, there’s so much humanity that he displayed as a dead character.

yeah I wish this video included how hurtful losing niko right Infront of him must've been too. she was the closest thing to a safe haven for him.

If I might say it: sometimes the music was sadly a bit too loud so the dialog wasn't good to understand.
