You got it. His on-field link ups and understanding with Giroud was fantastic but hardly ever utilised. But playing Christian off Lukaku's shoulder would be goals on goals. For me he's a more natural fit for big Rom than Timo or Kai.

@@SteveChiverton facts. A lot of what I see in him is the missing puzzle to bring out Lukaku or our final attacking form.
Lukaku would sometimes fumble his touch in our games where I’ve seen him make runs from outside of the box. And Pulisic often gets beat up by defenders when he’s inside the box or making runs to it.
But what matters is that Pulisic easily gets inside the box.
It will be a deadly link up since Lukaku is either already there or playing just outside it.
With Timo he’s great and creating runs and making space but where we lack is getting the ball played in from the midfield up to our attackers. Mount does a good job at that and our corners do too.
I think when Tuchel sees how Lukaku and Pulisic link up in game it will open his mind to the possibilities.

I think this season looks like last chance to him. He showed his talent but it was too short and too many injuries. He has been in team quite long time. Now it will be no excuse.
Even so, he is tied for third highest goal scorer this season.

People were being a bit shady towards him but we've all seen our options and how they work with Lukaku and it is VERY obvious that we need him back asap.

I completely agree! Not sure why people are shady with him, don't like him, etc. He's so good and so unselfish (just as you said). It seemed like they were playing an English player instead of CP, though CP is more effective. I don't get it.

@@jaimekorandu11 Agree. Mata was underrated. In the past decade, there has no better player than him in just one season. On the contrary, Eden has shown outstanding performance for many years, and that's why I like them the most.
