    We have the same chocolate rhyme in Spanish! I used to play that with my cousins in Venezuela. Its insane that we have same rhyme in so many places

    we have a similar lullaby in england where it goes
    “bah bah black sheep, have you any wool? yes sir yes sir, three bags full. one for the master, one for the dame (a woman basically) and one for the little boy who lives down the lane”
    i just thought it had a similar concept as the norwegian one you sang in this vid 😊

    Hi I’m French and we also have the chocolate rhyme with the word "chocolat au lait" that means "milk chocolate" so we used to sing it like "choco choco lat lat choco choco lait lait chocolat choco lait chocolat au lait" (the "t" is silent on both words) which is very similar to the norwegian one and we also used to do the clapping while singing it when i was a kid haha that’s funny you unlocked one of my childhood memories

    8:38 in german we have the same exact thing!! when saying sjoko or in german schoko you clap the inner parts of your hands, when saying la the outer parts and when saying de you make some kind of fist hahah. we also made up other rhyme clap things like this with the same rhythm like me-me lo-lo me-me ne-ne me-lo me-ne melone which is german for melon. or same thing with gummibärchen (gummybear)

    The pitch accent (the acute/grave accent thing) is SO tingly, definitely an underrated quality of Norwegian that works great for asmr.

    the rhyme! in Australia we had: double double ice ice, double double cream cream, double ice, double cream, double double ice-cream!
    same kind of hand clapping inside and outside of palms and hand. it’s so interesting seeing the comments and how so many countries have similar variations!

    In swedich the d in röd is pronounced, gul is the exact same, grönn is speld with 1 n. Blå is the exact same. Lilla is speld with one l. Rosa is the same. Yes swedich, norwegen and danic are related laungeges. This video is very fun for me my brain can kind of understand it

    The chocolate one we have in English except it’s not the same words but the same rhythm. It goes “Double Double this this, double double that that, double this double that, double double this that” 😂 Which this and that usually are interpreted as something sweet and savory.

    Not often do I hear of people anywhere spelling their name the same way as mine! Very interesting especially since everyone always asks me if I pronounce my name the Norwegian way because they never meet any Americans with that spelling
