The complete fluidity and perfection of the flowing lines, paradoxically, kind of serves to undermine the awe before the artist, because people get engrossed in the animation and don't realize this is not some kind of living creature made of pencil lines, but actual HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of meticulously hand-drawn frames...
Let's also not forget Mama Odie from The Princess and the Frog, will we? Andreas Deja is good at animation Jafar even though he didn't know Jonathan Freeman back then. My parents and I own a red eyed tetra named Jafar. He's the weirdest fish we've ever seen swimming in the tank with a neon fish named Lizzie.
