    Just Another Diary
The Day I Heard Shirley Died.
    Thursday before Good Friday.
The day I hear my friend Shirley died.
The day after I hear the Corona Virus has made it to town.
Memories from the road. The things Shirley did for me while I walked.
And at the beginning of the Easter Weekend when the stories start circulating about people moving around the country. I hear from a friend about this and when I check Twitter I find that there's people who believe that entitlement supersedes the lock down regulations. It makes me feel really strange, not even angry, just sad and on edge but not mad.
Ah I don't know what I was expecting but am feeling somewhat frustrated, content but frustrated.

'The world may be in lock down but it isn't every day you lose a friend.
On the 17th of March which is St Patrick's Day 2020 the pubs remained firmly shut and now a week later we're being asked to stay at home. The world is swept up in a pandemic of historical maybe even biblical proportions. I haven''t written a diary in years but it's time to start keeping a record of the world we're living in. I don't put pen to paper anymore like I used to in my late teens and early twenties,. The most things I've written are on a Swipe keyboard on my mobile phone. But there is of course a better way of doing this, phones also record sound and film and the quality isn't half bad. So here's my contribution to the times that are in it.
I don't really believe anyone is interested wat a middle aged woman has to say but I can put in my two cents out there. So here they are. All of it, the fucked up thoughts, the messed up ones, the mistakes and victories, the music, the bitterness and the observations, the rabbit holes, the luck, the work and the hopes and dreams for when all of this is over again.

Just Another Diary is created by the Harper, Pilgrim, Troubadour, Mother, Thinker, Walker, Talker Anja Bakker also known as the Flauting Harper, she is best known for her Harp Meditations and her pilgrimages with her 26 string harp to Santiago de Compostella and Rome. Her plan to leave in spring of 2020 is still on the agenda, for now. But of course it now all depends on how the Corona Virus crisis develops in the coming months.
