- When the Asur left the Old World the Asrai were not the only Wood Elves left behind. Take a seat and listen for a while, and I'll go over some history and culture of the Eonir, the Wood Elves of the Laurelorn Forest.

Finally, someone to pick up the slack left by Loremaster of Sotek after he became a Total War channel
Awesome channel!
Thank you!
YEEEES! I adore the Eonir as a faction so this is great to see :)
Thank you, enjoyed listening to this.
thanks for making this, it was helpful information. im making a young (46 years old) gladerider come life school spellslinger eonir in warhammer fantasy rpg that is a tor elf but he dislikes that the other wood elves of laurelorn forest arent allowed to sit on the council so he left by mutual agreement to train his magic in altdorf with the humans.
Thats an awesome backstory, though I hope he doesn't find human minds too limited as he's training!
Since there was a 700 year gap between The Sundering and The War of The Beard; do you think that it would be acceptable from a lore perspective, that there are Eonir descended from Nagarythe Shadow Warriors?
I would say yes for a couple of reasons. Firstly. The citizens of Elthin Arvan , from whom the Eomir are decended, would have been elves escaping the bloodshed of the Sundering. Some of those could very easily have been Nagarythe veterans.
Secondly, Shadow Warriors were known to implant themselves in other societies to seek out their prey. Many could have been there as the Eomir were transformed by the forest and ended up assimilating.
Finally, the Grey Lord's themselves were actually unrepentant Nagarythe sorcerers. Not Druchi, but Asur that refused to give up demonic magics. They became leaders among the Eomir and its believable that they'd have had Shadow Warrior Retinues. After all, they'd be vengeful not only for losing their homeland, but also for being cast out.
"Am, am, am, am, am." That's half of the video.
