A superb 1 bed 1 bath , I'd pay twice that price for a bigger unit of that quality in that location.

Unfortunately, $300k doesn't get it, because you have recurring fees on top of that. Disclosure?

That’s true for any condo. See description for disclosure.

Don't buy a place for the view. You get to where you don't even notice it. Buy it for the space and interior.

I relish my view every day and unlike wall art, it’s ever changing, even if ever so slightly.

@@GRAFFTRealEstate We all have our thing I get it. I used to live in Sandburg Terrace and definately a great location/views etc. But big drawbacks in it's age with no WD in in your apartment and just ageing infrastructure of the buildings. I'm sure you sold it though. That was good price for the interior upgrades.

Hubby and I are about to move to back to Chicago in the next few months. If you find a listing or have a pocket one for one of the townhomes in In Kinzie Park across from the Eastbank let me know. It's our prefered location.

yeah and the second you buy it, luck will strike, and they will build a huge tower right outside your window blocking the once incredible skyline views.

About the same. High rises haven’t quite recovered in Chicago.
