This video shows swell from storm Rosemary resolved in SWOT SSH (in blue) and radar backscatter (grey shades) data, as the satellite flies along track 008 over the Indian Ocean, north of Australia. Note the internal waves with L=2 km wavelength at the start of the videos, and the effect of shallow water, making the swell wavelength shrink.
