When she said it was only $50 and said that was pretty reasonable, I literally choked on my gum. THAT LIPSTICK TUBE BETTER BE MADE OF REAL GOLD.
Everything is extremely marked up over here, so that is reasonable for Australia. A lot of 'drug store' lipsticks here are in the $20-$40 range already, so for an Australian, $50 for a really nice lipstick is reasonable. Last week I watched one of those videos about 'drug store' products and they said the price was under $10 and I just got the exact same lipstick for $35...
I understand that USD and AUD are totally different currencies, but if you are going to claim that that is the reason why a $10USD lipstick costs $35AUD, then you're in for a big shock since at the current exchange rate $10USD is $13.14AUD, which means there is still more than a 100% markup...

in Korea they prefer less pigmented makeup for a more enhanced natural look and dewey finish

1. To anyone saying that that lipstick is so expensive: History of Whoo is a Korean luxury cosmetics brand. Honestly their price point is about the same as Chanel or Dior. They are more focused on skincare though, rather than makeup.
2. The brands concept is to capture the former traditional royal courts essence in form of the ingredients and design of the products. This is why their signature colour is gold, as it was and still is a common colour associated with wealth and status.
3. That lipstick is really nice. I own it myself. It's a more moisturizing lipstick, not long wear, but the wear is really nice and the colours are very flattering for a more high class, and elegant, yet natural makeup.
My mom got that lipstick as a gift from our Korean relatives and never even heard of it

I just discovered this lipstick and it's glorious! The feeling is amazing the finish perfect and I smelled no scent and no taste.

$50 bucks isn't a stretch for most high end lipsticks. also, note that this was probably fifty aud, not usd and it also probably included shipping from korea. it's nothing way out there like that ridiculous $100+ mascara wand (that didn't even include the mascara)

I'm half Korean and go to Korea every summer, and I remember when I was little, most of my aunts had at least one of those lipsticks in their makeup collection and I'd play with the detachable brushes all the time✌😂 Idk why people are making the price of this lipstick such a big deal, several of those luxurious traditional inspired Korean beauty products are of higher price range and I suppose it's just normal to me because it's just knowledge that I've always had growing up, hence the reason why I am not surprised.

Can I just say how gorgeous your contact are? Sooo pretty!
