Wreckfest is my favorite Failrace game. I'm hoping we'll get another Wreckfest stream soon.
Only Failrace and Crew can have such an exciting but also clean race at crash alley. Great stuff guys

@@erichogan5291 That's like saying Beam NG shouldn't have challenges were not damaging the car is the goal or GTA shouldn't be played without stealing everything or killing everyone. GTA literally stands for Grand Theft Auto, I believe it's the US legal title for car theft in their justice system, but there are people who role play lots of things besides car thieves in game. Just because Wreckfest has the ability to smash opponents to bits doesn't mean every single person playing it has to go that way. They are still races at the end of the day, races that need people to finish them to be ranked 1st, 2nd, etc.
Wreckfest's damage mechanic enables a greater degree of realism and risk to racing that other games and racing simulators don't have that some enthusiasts want to experience when racing, but they don't want to partake in the 'car should barely be working by the end of every single race' banger racing style of driving. Having the risk of a mistake ending their race is all they want from it, much like Beam NG, but they don't have the best racing yet for the full experience they're after, AI is a bit below the standards for good opposition in racing, and the only multiplayer is a mod that has its limitations.
Gotta feel for Speedbeast. I'm guessing they had roughly zero fun with these.

The cleanest wreckfest race. It upsets me. The spirit of the game is wrecking and dirty racing!
For the next wreckfest tournament you could set the session mode to cup. This will allow weckfest to tally points over multiple races. The grid order can then be set be based on these points, so the leaders would have to start at the back of the field.

Edit: also, i like the car choice as i used to race the bulldog often when i first started playing. Not so much anymore with it being kinda limited on most tracks, but it's a fun choice all around.

I remember that you in another wreckfest tournament got T-boned on the last passage also on a figure of eight tryng to drive really calculated. I did laugh out loud for quite a while at that time.
There is a tournament reward to buy for the Bulldog which can bring the Bulldog to an A709 car with big dragtires. Probably the fastest car but without any controll :D

Just got this yesterday for PS5 had it on PS4, an absolute gem of a game... what a hoot!
We can really see the classic crewmembers here , clean racing with some chaos ,but otherwise,very good racing. :)
I just started playing Wreckfest from FH5 and BeamNG recently and it's good to see another of your Wreckfest videos with the usual cast of characters. Thanks for clarifying your corner line at Crash Canyon. I was running it like Ewan, and not getting the results you were getting. Now I'll give your proper line a try.
Recently I've been trying lighter cars in the chaos races. I was using the Wildking, Starbeast SS, and Roadslayer GT, relying on their strength. I'm testing the Sunrise Super and Stellar with armor to see if I can use maneuverability to survive instead. So far, the Sunrise is great at Figure 8s and even Hellride, but not Wrecknado because of the mayhem in the center.
Need to remember to setup the car accordingly with the tracks. At some tracks you had to much travel of the suspension. Awesome video as always.
Pretty sure they had to use the same settings for every race.
If they had to use the same tune for all the races, that would make sense why his gear ratio was to long in the first and second race.

Aye, the Bulldog is a good car, especially in C and B class. I love the driving physics in WF, extreme deformations maybe for the kidos. I think the devs have specifically created more divergence in suspension and differential in a spring/summer update, but they all do not follow the same pattern, some drive better with stiffer suspension, most worse and it doesn't affect corning ability on the best cars as much. Do you set damage to extreme to prevent others from getting too bargey with their cars? We almost always go with normal and there is one driver or two who will use another car as a brake to make the next corner, but on extreme, the car being struck seems as likely to suffer horribly as the striker. Most times it looked like you were either pushing quite a lot or just unwilling to try drifting some corners once enough speed had been scrubbed. You guys have to try Boulder Bank Short Reverse with unlimited race cars. Most of the time you should be fine at the crossover unless someone falls quite a bit to the rear.
Fun Fact about the Bulldog. If you buy the Tournament Special 'Paintjob', you unlock an Engine Upgrade to a V8 and a PI of (I think) A-Class 655. Crazy fast, reached speeds of 200 mph across the big destruction site where you do your rounds of King of the Hill.
Surely the dnf, armour or speed rule would work better on the no rules racing?
You guys clean race majority of the time, so there isn't really any wreckages, so less chance of DNF anyway

@@secondchance6603 most races Alex says they have a "gentleman's agreement" to not purposely wreck each other, they only really have the odd no rules race,

Never been able to figure out if you're racing the AI/Drivatar or if they're actually there mainly because I raced online a few times with the same group and now their names are on the AI cars
Yeah honestly not a lot I could do about Alex on that third race. That absolutely sucks for him.

@@raregliscor1 Support your driving habits? No. It used to be mostly Dangerman driving without a care in the world for others, now it's pretty much just you. It is Wreckfest though, so bumps etc. are expected imo. But you can't be upset for people calling you out even in this situation, because it does seem to be mostly you, regardless of what game it is.
@@raregliscor1 This situation is pretty similar to the last time you & Alex got majorly mixed up in Wreckfest, but the roles are reversed (Alex slightly bumped into the rear or side of your car & sent you out of control to the left). The difference here is that Alex didn't lose his f'ing mind & spin around & take you out, like you did to him. We're here to watch racing, not to watch someone sidelined because of your immature antics.
Fun fact, if you upgrade the bulldog fully, and play the challenges, this is the most powerful car in the game.
