First heard this song waaaay back in '07. I loved the chill superbass. Then I just realised '07 was 10 year ago and that I was clubbing to this and realised I'm getting old. Not too old to pump this on my sound system though thankfully!
chill superbass - would make a great stage name
14 years ago 😔
This song was my first encounter with dubstep music back in like 2011. It was the weirdest, most intriguing thing I've ever heard up until that point, I didn't really get it at first but after a few listens something clicked and it made me want to explore all kinds of music to see what every genre has to offer
Even to this day, drops like a B0:55 📢

👍 good music is not disposable, contrary to what the collective "they" might think
Everyone wondering what the original to this song is

Thank you sir ! i was wondering if the man caspa made it himself lol !!!
Dubstep didn't change for the worse, it just spread out into many variations. Appreciate it and enjoy those variations which are to your liking :)
Sometimes riddim can be fun when you are destroying stuff or hitting the gym hard.

I'm only 9 and I love this song. It always reminds me of my daddy who has this in his car and introduced me to this amazing song
Heard this 5 years ago and still it is with me
One of my first introductions to dubstep. How little I knew.
Nostalgia kicking in, tears of joy, greetings from Mexico

Kurwa, klasyka dubstepu, słuchałem tego w czasach gdy pewnie 5 osób na krzyż wiedziało w Polsce o tym, że taki rodzaj muzyki istnieje :)
kurwa podzilam twoje zdanie pozdrowienia z kraju kwitnącej cebuli ;)

Man, how dubstep has changed for the worse... This ones a classic in my eyes

Nice quality, thx man :)
would have loved to have gone to one of those old 2000s clubs with these dark wobbly often jus sub-bass dubstep tunez as we all slow skank at half-bpm in the smokey dark. would be like an anti-rave or something x3
It's good to be back
I have to do this in my dance at school thumbs up if you think this is a good song to dance to if not thumbs down it’s not hate it’s just so I know x
Best music forever

I wish all arguments on youtube were as respectful as this!
Got the vinyl 👌🏻
This is the smoothest dubstep I've ever heard. This is beautiful. Can almost feel life in in china or japan.

i play the violin and i love this beat so much i have been trying to learn the song but it is so hard
Did you master it?
Back in the fookin daynes!
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Aughust 2021 Still sounds as fresh as fresher in freshman freshmanning freshyearly fresh mandongingily fresh.
hd luv it
i dont know why but i like that track
Music evolves all the time, you see this in every genre it has to be faster, harder, darker with each new song until it reaches a high point, then it slowly goes back to it's root or to slower variations or it evolves into a total new genre. Best example would be trance went harder till it became hard/progressive trance and nowadays trance is all melodic and slower again. The way of current artists is to create an unique sound but "unique" means "dis-functional" in this age and era.
God I wish there was sheet music for this
The loop is from a film called 'kung Fu hustle' brilliant film.
woah really? love that movie and shaolin soccer too, never realized though!
no care for time elapsed, too good a song (youre welcome :P)
magic right her old but grand
well said
This takes me back to 2010 peaking on decepticonpokeballs T_T so saddddddddd
Simply beautiful. I imagine myself in Asia's beauty learning to fight her most sacred forms of art to this song.
you won't find a beat like this!
🔥
This is actually really beautiful. I wonder where he got the instrumental.
Yes you will. Shanghai Subscape.
It didnt really change, theres still alot of dubstep like this out there
Mainstream perception of it definitely changed around 2008 when Skrillex and all the US producers got hold of it and turned it into a toxic pile of kack.
nice
Ok... maybe new dubstep is not what it meant to be, but that doesn't mean that it sucks. It just that it doesn't deserve to be called dubstep. And it's true, new "dubstep" may not be what we all spect of it, cause is not. It's another different gender with some dubstep elements.
Basically, is like if we call classical music or jazz with the name dubstep; it doesn't suck because is classic or jazz music, it would be just the wrong designation.
the violin melody is sampled from Lin Wenzeng - Blanket for couples (/watch?v=8FWH4VGa8Vg), wich appears in multiple martial arts movies, the most notable being Ip Man
banger
To all those fuckers who venerate Skrillex... Bruce Lee going to make you a dragon breath.
:: HEALTH :: brought me here
This sounds like it would be good for a thai chi class ;)
forever dreaming
@JohnEmeryMusic totally!
Back When Caspa was actually good!
krewella are good too. I like them but i like dub like this, but the artist I love is MitiS 'cos i listen to chilled dub, his stuff is very fluid and he kills it too
heheheh Cheers!
October 2023 such a good wun.
Thaitanium - No Stoppin' Us got same sample like this one.
Digital Nottich - Gaidastep
@GedasTraceur unless u search caspa-cockney violin on youtube ;)
What's the name of the song that the violin itself is playing? The oriental sounding one, or is it just part of the song?
