    the Olympic Anthem is greek poetry by Kostis Palamas and mysic by Spyros Samaras..all must learn it in greek language.. because it is ALL GREEK !

      @@linakaranika3003 It is not portuguese. It is in spanish. And I agree with the translation, because that makes the Olympic Anthem grater, not so little than greek frontiers, don't you think❓
      The world is grater than greece. But thanks for the life of people like Samaras and Palamas. Certainly they thaugth in much more than greece, when they made this masterpiece.

      @@damiantorko i agree about spanish an portuguese language.. when i talked about not to be translated i meant only in olympic games... of course i agree this anthem to be translated in all languages but when it is for official purposes i suggest it will be in greek.. dont you agree ?

      @@linakaranika3003 No I don't. Olympic games are not an exclusive heritage of Greece. They are heritage of whole humanity.
      I like when is sang in Greek. But the host countries have the legitimate right of sing it in their local or national language.
      In the Rio Olympic games, it was sang in Greek and in English (you can go to confirm it). It had to be sang, at least, in portuguese and in Greek. Which is the reason that do the Brazilian Olympic Committee to decide to sang it in English INSTEAD of portuguese, their national language??? 🤔

    Tanto rumore per nulla. Traduzione nel display sbagliatissima, quindi improponibile. Esecuzione confusionaria. Un piattista seduto nemmeno al circo si vede.

      L' Inno Olimpico fu composto da Sp.
      F. Samàras,(1895-96, intitolato "Spirito antico ed immortale"),già riconosciuto come l' inno ufficiale dei Giochi Olimpici dell' età moderna. Vuol dire (che) sia un patrimonio universale. Questa registrazione non è professionale e mancano pure le 2 prime battute dall' introduzione con le trombe e dei tamburri.
      P. S.( Al circo,a mio parere, quasi sempre,lo stesso musicista suona i piatti e la gran cassa,per ragioni di economia.)
