@@waynescoble7072I think it’s just because he had a lot of chips behind him and knew he would make it decently far in regards of placement and didn’t want to risk it. Still a dreadful play
When someone takes a big portion of your chips, “that’s ok I still have 2.4 million” is exactly the right attitude. Patients and a little luck and those chips can come back 10 fold. And I usually do get them back when I set out too.

I owned that Poker For Dummies book. I bought it as a joke from a charity store to pull it out during a pub game many years ago. It worked as a joke. Didn't even read it. Just donated it back a week later.

I think like with many countries,,accents have a lot to do with it too. And just lack of experience with the phrase. Like hardly ever hear it myself besides here and some sports events. Just a cultural barrier and small mistake imo. And I'm sure let's say non Americans would have the same mistake as well at first
