Hi thank you for the video. I’m arriving in Narita airport terminal 1 at 21:00 and all of the pocket wifi providers that I saw closes that time too. Are there providers that offer later pick up? If I send it to my hotel, I’m worried about my journey from Narita to my hotel in Shinkuju as I won’t be able to navigate easily without wifi. Any advice on this?

I ordered pocket wifi because it came with the power bank I can use for all my other stuff too. Do still need the VPN, I mean I will be signed into the pocket wifi

Hi, this is another very useful video, thanks!
I am somewhat "conflicted": is it better to purchase a data SIM or to rent a router? ) Especially if one is alone or max two people... having a router means another thing to care of, to recharge and to carry around...

I went for 30 days and a data SIM was perfect for me. You can get those unlimited plans pretty cheap tbh, and then a friend can just piggyback off of ur hotspot if needed.

Hello Axios, that is very true. In your case a data SIM might be the better option if you want to travel light. I would just go with whichever is cheaper and convenient.
