Projects With Paul thanks for sharing this video with me paul my friend about **IT WORKS** Ryobi Framing Nailer Magazine Extension From Rigid 21 Degree Nail Gun it was a really awesome nail gun you are doing a great job building that in addition on your house keep up the good work you are doing my friend and i will always show support to your channel and God Bless.
Shhhh let us go by the nailer in the extender before they raise the price after they find out that we modified it 😫🤦🏿♀️ Remember every companies making money they don't care anything about the people that are giving them free commercials and you're already putting people on blast so they can void warranties and crap.
Thanks for the video. How heavy would you say it is in comparison to a pneumatic nailer? I want to get one but not sure if to go Ryobi or Ridgid. I dont have either brand of tools so I'll be buying batteries and charger as well, just don't know which route to go. What are your thoughts or suggestions?
Its heavier than a pneumatic nailer, not sure how much. I dont have a compressor so i went battery powered. Ryobi has a lot more tools on their 18 volt platform Than Rigid. I like the fact that you can just grab it and shoot a few nails without dragging out a hose and compressor. Thanks for watching.
@@ProjectsWithPaul oh ok. I kinda figured it'd be heavier especially after adding the battery pack to it. I have a 30 gallon compressor but I hate the hoses because they get tangled up and it's more work setting everything up. Ryobi definitely has more tool than Ridgid, but Ridgid has that lifetime warranty which is appealing. I use mostly Hart tools but they're not releasing a framing nailer anytime soon. It probably won't be till next year once Ryobi has had it for a year and then they'll pass it to Hart since Hart is little brother to Ryobi. I like the orange/black colors of Ridgid, but like you said, Ryobi has way more options so I guess we'll see.
Honestly I'd go rigid. I have all ryobi but if I didn't I would have bought rigid. They have a life time parts and service warranty, ryobi is only 3 years
@@tikkigodman I ended up buying the Ridgid one and it arrived a few days ago. I'll be using it this week and I'm excited to finally ditch the air compressor and hose. I know it'll be heavier but I rather deal with that than kinked hoses, hauling around my 30 gallon air compressor and having to have an outlet nearby or run an extension cord.
Any benefit of the 21 degree over the 30 degree versions? also where did you get just the extension? I just looked on Homedepot and couldn't find just the extension.
@@ProjectsWithPaul I did some more research on this and the 21 has a full head vs the 30 which has a partial head on the nail. The 30 can hold more nails per pack. The 21 can have larger round nails. From what I've seen it's like the 21 is more for actual framing that needs to be stronger the 30 for side jobs...I think lol
I think it also has to do with city code. If your doing projects around the house you still want to do it to code, Some require full head. I’ve heard different things about being able to put the 21 nails in the 30% nailer. If you could that would be awesome.
They do make 30° full head nails which are offset from center of the nail. If I knew this when I bought mine I may have gone 30°. Fit more nails in magazine and paper nail strip debris vs the plastic debris on 21°.
Heads up guys ryobi now makes an extended mag for their 22 and 30 deg nailers and its actually alittle cheaper than the rigid!
Thanks for sharing and watching
Man that thing looks huge

Well that’s amazing. Thank you so much!
Nice! Maybe you can be a spokesman for Ryobi! #Ryobi
Hey, if they want to send me some tools, I'll review them. Thanks for watching.

@@TheRealAmythyst Just change it back to the original if you have any issues. its a direct bolt on so no mods needed. Thanks for watching.

Do you have to put air in it
They say only if performance decreases. I've shot around 3k nails with no issues or adding air. Thanks for watching.

Found it! Commented before watching the end where you showed the part number :D 5:05
I had the same question about 21 vs 30 but most people said 21. Thanks for watching.

I actually came to ask a question which one should I start with a 21 degree or the 30 degree
I had the same question and i decided on the 21 because of more nail options. Thanks for watching.
Aww shucks I ordered the 30
I wish I knew this before or during the thirty degree cuz I had the 21° sitting in my cart since it was released
@@TheRealAmythyst Let me know how it works.
Curious if the 30° will fit same nail gun.
I wouldn't think so because of the angle they wouldn't feed right.
How much for box of nail sir?
$40 tp $50 for 1000 depending on size. Thanks for watching
