Butterfly! No longer a moth but nowhere near a veteran. Have some clothes from the current or last season but still afraid of krill and need help with more in depth details of game. Afraid to go to Eden alone or haven't gone at all. Flying is better but still may be awkward at times. Beginning to help moths but not that great at it. Going to parts of Golden Wasteland, but not all of it and not confidently.

Dragonfly.... Not a butterfly anymore, can go through Eden quite well, usually has at least seen all maps, knows about ingame lore and events and stuff
They are nowhere near a veteran though, don't have all cosmetics yet
Like a dragonfly, they're solo and only rarely pare up / befriend anyone, let alone adopt moffs (they're too much work)
On the rare occasion that they DO find anyone, they will protect them at all costs and will show their love by helping with everything, and eventually mourn their loss when the friend stops playing. Then they become solo again
Oh I think I finally found a phrase to describe myself XD
But I haven't heard that before.. do players really use that or it's a self-created phrase?

there's more out there, like birds, or mantas, like creatures from sky itself. but moths aren't really in the game, are they? ^^

*Cr*-- for candle run
*Wl or shiny boiz* ----for wing light
*Wlr* ----for wing light run
*Cake*----- for treasure candle
*Treasure/cake realm*----realm with red candles on the gate
*Uber*----- people who help in cr or wlr
*Pnr*-----point of no return in Eden , you do da sacrifice
*Wing buffs* -----those permanent wings that are purchased with ascended/red candles
*Orbit*----- the end of Eden to redeem thy wing buffs
*Server split* -----when tgc decides to make you suffer
*Bugs*------when you enter common buggy areas like the prairie caves, at wind paths going to prophecy cave 🥹
*Server error* -----when you see that annoying *_retry_* button whenever a long awaited ts has come or something
*Afk* ----away from keyboard, uber passengers who are busy so they go zzz during uber
*Semi-afk*----passengers who are busy but not go zzzz

Question: Let's say you can not complete a Spirit Reliving because of a glitch where you 1) Can not make contact w/the Spirit, 2) Have restarted both game & system yet, 3) This does nothing. Would this be considered a Server Split or Bug?

Geyser time - when the geyser erupts at Sanctuary and gives wax
Grandma time - When wax is served at the treehouse of sunny forest
Shards- When Eden erupts and there’s a shard quest
Turtle- When it’s the sunset at Sanctuary and can collect wax from shells
Paths- Wind paths/tunnels that are shortcuts at the Season of Flight area
I've been playing for almost 2 years now since season of dream, but im still broke as a moth. I know everything about sky though. My friends usually call me trap moth or fake moth XD
as a chibi who doesn’t know how to chibi clip and have no want to learn how, i feel good.

Yes that's true but as you said , no one plays sky using a keyboard and when I explained AFK real meaning, it confused many of my friends 🤣 so now I just say it means I'm busy 💫

Krill: those scary dark Creatures usually in wasteland and eden, canonically called dark dragons, but called krill by the community because they look like shrimp.

I believe Veteran definition vary from person to person. It can either mean a player who has played Sky for a year or more, during the earlier days of Sky, or what you described. Again, it depends on how someone views the term. To some, I may be considered a veteran, but some may not, and I’m mostly okay with that.
I consider myself a veteran as I started playing as soon as it was released on Android. But I stopped playing about a year and a half ago bc I got a job and now I'm back and everything's so different! I'm like what's that, why is there a grandma giving me wax, we can dive now???

if you didn't claim the owl hairstyles during the seasons they were brought out in, then there is no way to get them anymore due to them being ultimate gifts from the season guides 😅

Just confirmed that *rocket* still works 🥹 all you gotta do is to have another friend offer piggyback and do the same, then the two of you need to tap the piggyback icon at the same time to launch yourselves upwards (haven’t tried if *spiral* still works)

The NPC let's us in during Sky events! Other than that you'll need the cape. But there isn't anything exciting in the office to be honest although it's nice to see a different map once in a while 🔆
A Catterpillar! Worse than a moth at sky. Has been playing the game for 5 days and has not unlocked Hidden forest. Also has no idea what they are doing also has no accessories in game no different pants no hairs and has nothing like that.

What is a player that's in between moth and veteran? I played the game at season of enchantment but broke my tablet so I had to not play the game for some time, would've been a veteran if that sad day never happened :(

@@LuminaSky since that's the period where candle running is needed for us to survive I think the term should be related to that. Maybe the Runners? Or Mid class might work, I'm not good at making terms
They are called Butterflies, usually because they have an orange cape and more wings. They are knowledgeable of the game but aren't the best at flying or helping moths, but they try and are better than moths. Butterflies can also have the cosmetics of the most recent season(s). So I guess in your case you'd be in that category???

@@genevahodge2184 From my experience I have never heard that term being used too much for the in-between players. I mainly have just heard "Older Sky-Kid" or "Older player", I have heard of dragonflies, being used as well, but that was also uncommon.
In addition to this, there's no terms for a returning player, which describes Dregoon's situation. They played the game a long time ago, but had quit due to outside circumstances, and came back.
We could call them a returning moth, reflecting that they aren't new, but they haven't played for a while to the point where they feel completely new to the game again, but that would confuse people, they may think, "Oh a moth who quit more recently and came back today"

Moth is a nickname of new players of the name they wear the default brown cape default hairstyle and have a call that comes into your nightmares moths are known for being broke
