This is the perfect "Humanity test movie" .... because if you don't cry a single tear OR laugh out loud... while watching this movie, you aren't human.
i didnt, movie i only cried is eurotrip
100% agree. I was dating a girl when this movie came out. She didn't cry during this movie or any movie we saw for that matter. I couldn't understand how she wasn't moved by something like this. She looked at me like I was weird for feeling something and said, "It's just a movie." And at another point when I brought it up, she said, "Feelings are gay." Worst girlfriend I ever had, total psycho, super manipulative and narcissistic. Looking back, I don't think she actually cared about me. She just liked the ego boost I gave her.
This and The Princess Bride, if you don't at least like it.
Let's not go too far. I agree that the first ten minutes of "Up" are quite emotional, although I found the beginning of "Finding Nemo" to be even sadder. "Up" could have worked well as a short story. However, the rest of the film is fairly standard. Its reputation largely hinges on its opening, which may influence first time viewers to align with the emotional consensus. While I recognize the opening as a masterpiece of silent animation, I don't think the whole experience is as deeply moving as many do
@@sdkelmaruecan2907 I have some bad news about your test results. ;-)
Raise your hand if you thought, “oh dear …” after she said “this is my last tissue.”
✋️
✋
so funny to watch how much she try to hold her tear.
*raises hand*
to be fair, I'd have thought the same if she said it was her last BOX of tissues.
3:43. *super happy* "I'm gonna have such a nice day today!" ..ohh no
i felt my heart drop :,(
Facts 100
SAME.
i swear i was laughing out loud in that moment lol
I said the same thing to myself😆
For the record, crying for this movie means you're beautiful.
She is that and more.
@@henrytjernlund She's all kinds of Nifty. 😍
Crying even before Ellie’s end mean’t Biss had no chance she wouldn’t run out of tissues!
When she said, "this is my last tissue" (shortly after the house taking off), I immediately thought, oh my god, please keep it until he reads the book again :(
This movie has a special place in my heart. When it came out, my girlfriend and I had just gotten the news that she can't get pregnant, and that it's because of a degenerate disease that will eventually be lethal. So when we sat together and watched Ellie and Carl getting that terrible news hit us hard. But the rest of the movie of them being together, AND Carl being there for kids that aren't his, reminded us we don't need to have kids of our own to have kids in our life, or to have a fulfilled life. Amongst other things we are a happy aunt and uncle to a whole bunch of neices and nephews.
Bro stooooooop 😭😭
Dammit im crying again! I bet you both are the BEST aunt and uncle 🫶🏾🥹
You made me cry again, God dammit!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭 Wishing you all the happiness in the world ❤❤
Some films require tissues, and other films require bath towels! 😭😭😭
🤗🤗🤗 For Madalina
and a bucket so you can wring out those bath towels during the movie
I'm struck by the way Pixar managed to tell a better love story in 10 minutes with minimal dialogue than Twilight did in 4 whole movies.....
Yeah ,that first 10 minutes are a masterclass in animation showing , humanity, sadness, happiness, life all in one shot .
That first 10 minutes are a masterpiece!
I'm surprised you excepted so much out of Twilight 😛
Jk, Up is Pixar's most underrated movie imo
@@iggystompbarnyard Underrated?!? It has 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and 88% on Metacritic!
@@iggystompbarnyard I don't know if it's underrated, it was nominated for Best Picture that year. Also when we think of Pixar, Up is usually in the top 5 films we can think of
"You are putting money for dream, and then life happens"
-Bisscute, 2024
The part where Carl reads the adventure book and sees Ellie's message is so important to real life. So many people reach a point where they think "I haven't done anything, I haven't lived," but look at Ellie and Carl; they were stuck unable to fulfil their dream of going to Paradise Falls together, but the life they shared was all the adventure they ever needed and that's how we should all see our own lives. Sure, you didn't do this, that, or the other, but you lived and you did the things you wanted to as they were happening, which is worth celebrating and cherishing
Well said, thanks for watching
@@BissFlix Hi Bisscute or Madalina, I like the movie up also, its a very good movie. I also like when you react to music, your quite entertaining. Good job on what you do, keep it up. Next song react, can you do TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT by EDDIE MONEY, please!
In other words, live life now :) life is a lot better when you learn to live in the moment and enjoy every second you have with those you love! Life is too short not to

I agree 👍
Our dogs would get crazy when they heard us say "outside", so we started spelling it. Eventually they figured out the spelled-out word meant "outside".
'Missekat' (pussycat) it the biggest trigger for my dog
My late father used to take the dog for a walk at the weekend after watching a football program, "Match of the Day". In time, our dog learned that the Match of the Day title music playing meant he was going for a walk... to the degree that my sister could hum the tune at any time and the dog would start getting excited to go out.
my dog does the same with the words do and go, so we started saying shall we descend lol
Pixar are genius for making a movie that can make you laugh, cry and smile so much in such a short space of time.
At least they were
@@alaneskew2664agreed they WERE
If you ask Rick Astley for a DVD of the movie Up, he won't give it to you. However, by not giving you Up, he's letting you down. This is known as the Astley paradox.
This gave me joy.

Can you believe this is my 5 year old sons favorite movie? I cry more every time I watch this!
To quote the ghost from Christmas Past in Scrooged - "Niagara Falls"
When Biss cries, we all cry
I hope this reaction gets shared with Pete, Bob and Tom.
That would be amazing
Dear sweet Biss,
I have watched many, many reactions to this phenomenal movie, and I can easily say that yours is absolutely my favorite!! I laughed with you, I cried with you, and I very much appreciated your genuine emotions and wonderful facial expressions. You also understood the importance of adventures, even if they weren't part of someone's plans.
This is my favorite reaction to one of my all-time favorite movies!! 😊❤ Thank you.
Beautifully put!!!!
Biss enjoying the opening: ''Awwwwww guys I love that!!!''
Us knowing what's coming: ''Ohhhhh boy''
That was the fastest I've seen anyone cry off all their mascara. Very impressive. 😂😂
The first time I saw this I was flying to Vegas with my parents and sister. I knew from the commercials that Mr. Frederickson was a lonely old man, so when they introduced his would-be wife as a child, I started crying immediately (like I am typing this up), knowing that she was going to die before the main story started. I cried through the entire opening.
And then when the adventure began in earnest, I was along for the ride. I smiled, I laughed, I cheered. It was awesome.
And then the tears came back when he went to rescue Russell, and when he pinned the medal in his sash...
This quickly became my favorite animated movie ever, of all time, and I don't see anything unseating it any time soon.
I am from Venezuela and one of my dreams is also to visit Roraima, the Tepuis and El Salto Angel (Angel Falls XD) where Paradise Falls is inspired! :)
Everything there seems frozen in the time of the Dinosaurs!!! XD
I love how every reaction i've seen always includes the coment "IT'S 10 MIN INTO THE MOVIE WTF PIXAR" X'D
For reference: a "Snipe hunt" is a prank you play on the rookie in the gang: make him waste his time looking for an imaginary bird called a Snipe. I learnt this watching Cheers in the 80's.
We channel viewers are so cruel..... making Biss 😭 every week. We should be ashamed. 😮😉😉
An epic reaction. Thank you! I love everything about this movie. One thing I really love is the nod to Monty Python when Russel is trying to assemble the tent, “Is this step 3 or step 5? I can’t tell.”
If you dont cry in the first 10 minutes of this movie, youre a sociopath
You are now an Official Member of the Explorer Club!!! Congratulations!!! Beautiful reaction! 😊💕
You have such great empathy. Many people deserve an Ellie or a Carl. Sadly, I’m sure there will never be an Ellie for me. It’s how life is
I am writing this to help out bisscute and this video and this channel with the algorithm🥰
One day you are "less cutty cutty and more stabby stabby!" and the next you run out of tissues. So is life!
Yes to answer your question this movie makes a wreck out of everyone. It is one of three movies that can make me cry every time, without fail.
I really wanted to watch this reaction but im sitting at an airport right now and people will see me crying lol
Bisscute, you have a kind heart and a pure soul! It was a pleasure watching this movie with you and seeing the way it filled you with utter delight and joy! This was such a wholesome reaction! God bless you!
This movie goes straight for your neck right at the beginning!! They show no mercy. It will have you crying within the first ten minutes. 😭
Cried more watching you than I did when I saw the movie with my daughter.
Probably the most notorious cry scene of ALL the Pixar movies.. though as a parent, the family cry scene at the end of INSIDE OUT gets me too.. I literally cannot watch that scene with my kids in the room.
I am almost 50 years old now and I saw this movie just after it came out and Bis, I cried as hard as you did the first time too! This is such a great movie!
Easily one of my favorite reactions. You have a good heart and I commend you for being so open and unreserved. Your emotions resonate with all of us and help us to feel the same joys and sorrows. Kudos and thank you.
Welcome to the Up club membership requirement crying in the first 10 minutes
Oh my God! This movie reaction is pure INTERNET GOLD, i am enjoying it so much :)
Got us viewers right in the feels
The first 10 to 15 minutes of this movie is masterful storytelling 🥺😥😢😭
You are such a wonderful reactor, and you have such a big heart. I hope you have kids! They will be very lucky.
I really wish that dogs had collars that talked because when I adopt a rescue animal because I would love to know what they've been through so I could know how to help them feel better/safer faster.
Plus, the idea of hearing "Human, I love you." is just damn adorable, even in a robotic voice. 😊
The first ten minutes crushes everyone to tears without exception. Pixar were incredible storytellers.
Caw Caw RAAR!! I was prepared for some crying but not to watch Biss become completely emotionally wrecked!!! All ended well Biss! Caw Caw RAAR!
This is such a great movie for kids and adults. This reaction is why I love Bliss so much, she is so real and gets into the movies. I think everyone can get something from watching this movie. Oh, and Bliss don't ever worry about your makeup running because you always look beautiful with or without it.
I'm calling this out as the sweetest reaction on CZcams.
Up is a great movie that pings my heart strings, particularly poignant, having lost my wife to cancer as well. Kids weren't on the cards for us, although two wonderful, grown step-daughters did come with the package, both of whom became incredible mothers in their own right, that I know their mother would have been deeply proud of.
Challenged by chronic health issues and recovering from a major heart attack, circumstance often looms over life, and after some crap recent weeks, watching this reaction really warmed my soul.
Thanks Biss! ♥
Toda una montaña rusa de emociones para las almas sensibles como las nuestras! 😭😭😭
😅 Sidenote: In Russian Rollercoaster translates as American mountains (Amerikanskie Gorki)!
I don't think I've seen you cry this hard and laugh this hard before. Thank you for watching this beautiful movie.
Up has definetly become one of my favourite films, and I saw it for the first time in 2024
This movie is truly an emotional rollercoaster. You laugh, then cry, then cry, then laugh,. then cry again, then laugh a bit, then cry, then you meet Dug and you want nothing bad to happen to him.
You trying to get rid of the tickle in your nose and not cry was the cutest thing I've ever seen. You look beautiful always. No makeup, crying whatever. That's what I think
This movie came out 6 years after my grandpa died. People in my family were amazed at how much Carl reminded them of him
GREAT MOVIE!! 😊 Saw this in the theatre and NGL ... I BAWLED at the beginning 😭 😊💔💗💘🥰
LETS GOOOO!! 💪😎💪
Hands down the best reaction I've ever seen to this movie.
Biss you're reaction was so sweet/adorable and honest.
This movie makes me tear up everytime. I'd be terrified of anyone that doesn't get emotional/cry during this movie.
The funniest part is that Russell still had the leaf blower when he got to muntz because it kept working on all the dogs
Yes, I agree with you, it's a real good movie, with highs and lows, perfectly balanced with a good story. definitely a 5 star movie.
That was your best reaction yet. I thought I’d seen Up enough times not to tear up, but I couldn’t help it did.
Poor Bisscute!! You really felt this movie. It’s really a emotional rollercoaster, it really it you hard. Awesome reaction to an awesome movie. This is probably your best reaction. God Bless
I could not help but cry when I saw you cry and NO you are not ugly when you cry...you are still beautiful in my eyes, you are just showing you are a human with feelings, so never call yourself ugly because it's not true. I usually do not comment much. I have been following your channel for a while now and will continue to follow. stay sweet , looking forward to see you in a another reaction video.
Thank you so much, glad you liked this
The man who voiced Carl was the inimitable Ed Asner. As an actor, he was famous for playing loveable grumpy guys, namely Lou Grant on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Carl. He won 7 Emmy (tv show) awards, the most of any man. He wasn't a perfect man, but he tried really hard to be a good one.
😂❤❤❤ I can't get Over how u Ended the Video Like a Mom Scolding her Sons.."Pete Bob and TOM!"......ADORABLE and I Love Everything You react to...Like memory Lane
I love that you both: laugh the hardest at the funny stuff, more thn other people that watched this movie, but also you cried a lot at the sad part, this movie controlled your emotions like a puppet!
It's a love letter to life and love, beautiful, emotional movie, that also deals with the death of a loved one, one of the best movies out there
I'm still a little stunned that a few years ago I saw another CZcamsr who, while watching the opening of "Up," asked in total seriousness "Is this supposed to make me sad?" and explained that she couldn't feel anything for the CGI characters because it was so obvious to her that they weren't real. Her reaction was very interesting to me because I remembered a report about a neurological study that used radioactively labelled glucose to monitor brain activity which showed that humans can have an empathetic response even to inanimate objects when they are presented with an anthropomorphic context.
She is what is called a narcissist, and an extremely sociopathic one that can't even mimic normal human behavior.
That's very interesting. I'm a middle-aged man, and I get very emotional when watching well-made animated films like "Up".
We can argue that "Up" wasn't made primarily for children. The main story was for grown-ups, who probably cried more than children did when watching this great film.
My mom also struggle to feal something to animation movies.
It ijust doesn't work for her.
@@ParlonsAstronomie... The same goes for musicals. Many people are not affected at all, and some even say that they "hate" musicals.
@@Stogie2112 I think that's quite different.
Musical is a style that some can not like, but here it is about not being able to empathize with CGI character.
Не волнуйся Biss! Всё будет хорошо!❤
Taking someone "Snipe Hunting" was a mean trick we used to play on people. Although the Snipe is a variety of bird, it did not exist in my area. You'd talk someone into going hunting for one drive into the countryside, give them a bag and have them walk to the other side of a field and we'd drive the Snipe towards them to catch. Once the started walking to the far side of the field, you drove off. Pre cell phone they either had to walk to a farm house to use the phone or trek all the way back to town.
Your reactions are so fun, and I love how closely you immerse yourself into it and notice all the details. So many reactors don't really pay attention and miss so much.
I am trying my best
9:55 Don't cry princess, don't cry. 🏠🎈
It's 1 am here and i just watch this movie again. It's one of my favorite Pixzar movies. And watching it with you Bisscute made it that much more adorable.
Aww thanks for watching
how all of us feel when we watch this movie, you had the courage to post it, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. so wonderful.
And thank you for watching
I loved, loved, loved your reaction to this movie that many call the humanity test movie, which you passed with flying colors. One of the best Pixar movies in my opinion. Keep up the great reactions!
Ive seen u get emotional and use a lot of tissues, but not in the first 10 mins of a movie. Thats what this movie does to whoever watches it. Beautiful reaction Biss!!
and i thought that i will never be crying seeing a movie reaction. WRONG.
Bisscute, you're the best.
I'm a 49 year old male, this movie wrecks me every time. Great concept, just a beautiful movie.
never fails to bring the tears
My favorite Pixar! Big Hero 6 should be your next Pixar flick.
You truly are a angel 😇 biss I could feel your pain because my heart and soul was breaking to watching this movie you are a truly amazing woman ❤❤❤100
Pixar went for the record, how quickly can we have the whole audience weeping
I think this movie has a record of making people cry. I haven’t seen a single reaction where someone hasn’t cried to this. Lol
Biss is like I'm going to have so much fun and Pixar is like hold my beer
Up! was the last movie I saw in theaters with my mom before she died in 2009. I still can’t bring myself to watch it again. Miss you mom 😢
Sorry for your loss
Such a great animated movie! All the characters are so adorable... Except that man muntz! I Luv that Doug became the Alpha! And that Russell and Carl ended "UP" together! Thanks for sharing Biss ❤️💛
And a storm, thunder started just as i got to the storm in the movie. Weird when even reality empathizes with a movie.
This movie will never NOT make me cry. Every time.
15:23 ....You trying to hold back the tears remind me Chaplin playing with his moustache...
“It’s like America, but south.”
😲😲😆
I haven't even hit start yet, and I am crying already.
I love in the beginning you were trying to hold back the tears.
brilliant reaction . my uncle before he died told me to watch this movie you won't regret it.he certainly wasn't wrong.
This is a reminder to all that still have their mates out there. Just make it happen. Go do the things that you can. I lost my wife of 28 years four years ago, and its all of the "things we are going to do" memories that destroy me. There is no cure for it it seems. What I would give for one more year. We all die. So live while you are here.
Awwwwww Biss, you were so happy but we all knew what was coming. You held it together well! Luckily Doug the dog was in the future for you!
My top animated films are all Pixar: The Incredibles, WALL-E and Up. All tied for 1st!
I wasn’t sure you were gonna make it! I’m so glad you loved this movie as much as we do.
This movie hits me right in the feels every damn time.
She's such a sweetheart!
Biss' weakness, cartoons and space movies 😭
Alriiiiiiiiiiiiiiight i havent had a good cry in a while, lets get it
Yeah, that first ten or twelve minutes of up is a staggeringly great example of "show, don't tell" story-building, I would argue that quarter hour of animation was a more riveting love story than the three hour titan that is Titanic. My reasoning is that Titanic is just a romantic fantasy woven into a real tragedy, but those first minutes of up is realistic romantic tragedy woven together to create the driving force of the fantasy adventure, all grounded from a place of "saving up for the hail-mary dream trip while regular life things 'set you back'".
All while our main character didn't have to say a word and still have it hit like a tonne of bricks.
Bisscute has the best eye roll on the web!
Hahaha thanks
I love you soul and a angel you are ❤ the world need people like you 😊
