I am a buddhist, and through him I find that the two religions or two teachings to be exact share a single goal. Because when you reach nirvana your universe disappears!
This is great. For me it doesn't really matter anymore if I have to "come back" again, because that doesnt matter at all to me. Who cares? It's just a dream. My only problem with that is I just don't want to have to experience more fear, unhappiness and suffering. So if we are already in Heaven RIGHT NOW, we only need to recognize it and be happy.

where does the ego come from? where does duality come from?
It goes without saying, I think, that uncoupling our attention from the body as a false projection, is a very long process and won't happen overnight. But, it is worth constant consideration, along with the entirety of the ACIM message of forgiveness.
What is the purpose of our existence according to ACIM?
so- what is the ego? who is the ego? why does the ego have such bad intentions for us? Is the ego Satan? (metaphorically) there is God - the the ego trying to deceive us..why? whats up with the ego?

This is a great encapsulation... when reading the book one can get 'spread about' as it's all so deep and mind-bending, but hearing Gary's summary, ties it all nicely together.
