- It struck me that this scene where Eliott describes his illness and Lucas battles to save the relationship, that it is like a dance between them, and so I have interspersed it with the dance scene, always coming back to their love despite all the obstacles they face, Alt er love.

I used to have a girlfriend who had more or less the same illness as Eliott. But I didn't know. No one explained to me. She was supposed to take pills but she never did, so I thought she felt all right. When I watch these episodes of Skam in which Lucas is explained everything with many details what is going to happen, the way he should behave, I think to myself: “Why on earth wasn't I explained the same?!” My life and hers were hell for almost three years because I tried so hard to make her feel better all the time. I tried to heal her, I tried to give her joy, to take her pain off, I tried to change her actually. It was so useless!! And the end was really sad to me.
I understand everything now, like three years later, thanks to Skam.

Oh your story is so sad. I really don't think there is enough support for people who are suffering mental health issues but even less for those whose loved ones are affected by it. If you dont know what to expect it's impossible to know how best to deal with situations and episodes that arise. There is a need for Skam and shows like this being honest and telling it like it is to inform and educate us all about these important issues that affect many. Sad that it is too late to save your relationship but at least you now know nothing was your fault or anyone's fault and you did the best you could. Alt er love. Dont give up on love. ❤

they have given you, I thought you might enjoy two other love
stories of great quality, using actors who had real chemistry
(you might already know them, so this is really just in case).
One is the U.S. 2016 TV series "Eyewitness" (like Skam, this
one also an adaptation from a Norwegian original). Eyewitness
inspired a great many fanvids, one of the most beautiful is from

The other one is the French made-for-TV film Baisers Caches
(released in the U.S. & elsewhere as "Hidden Kisses" with good
English subtitles). One unusual aspect of this one is that it
really goes into how much of a difference, for better or worse,
that a father can make in the life of a gay son. Both of these,
btw, have great supporting casts. Anyway, hope that helps.

so i literally just started and finished season 3 today and i’m curious on whether or not there is going to be more seasons or more episodes with Elliot and Lucas together?
They are in season four but not much. Everyone is hoping skam france manage to negotiate extra seasons. Probably depends on skam norway if they will allow them to go ahead.
sadly Axel, the actor of lucas stop skam at the sixth season, so if they are more then 6 season, their couple will probably die.

Anyone know if their story line progressed after this? Or is that to be determined if more seasons happen?
in season 4 they were together and we learnt a little more but not much. We are all really hoping they get permission from SKAM Norway's Julie Andem to make new seasons, they did such a great job within the constraints they had, I think if those constraints to follow the original storyline at least loosely, were no longer there, then I think wow it would be amazing. Eliott's story needs developing and there are other characters that we need to know more about too. #skamfrance all the way
