Avant 860i first oil change is a nightmare over a $2 fix. Very frustrating!

- First 50 hour engine oil change goes very bad because of poor choices by Avant and Kohler. Exasperated by hateful Avant USA corporation.

From Avant 745 owner, great video. Every different engines needs a learning curve seems be ... 860i has Kubota?
We here in USA dont like distributers telling us where to buy. We were going to buy an 860 and 8 attachments. But this isnt the only owner that has been treated this poorly. Foreign equipment needs top notch service. Farmers try to do everything on there own. John Deere tried to go with dealer/corporate repair. They lost in court. If this is what Avant wants for a Distributer, then they will eventually leave Canada. maybe the USA distributer is better, maybe.
Get an EZ Oil drain valve. Or a Fumoto drain valve.
Never take it out. Just turn the valve. Drains down.

I agree Brian needs to run a proper business 😡avant makes great machine but I agree on pricing and how u have to buy from your closest dealer 👍👍

Same solution on our older csf multione oil all over and spin on oilfilter that also does an oil mess because it sits on the side of engine not much space to work on.
Had a 420 since 2015 had one drive wheel motor go bad 450 hrs,now have 635 got hydraulic hose leak 5 hrs 😢😢had to tear off wheel and 10 motor bolts to tighten a hose ughhhh still under warranty buy who has time

slightly off topic for this video but have 2 questions relating to your 860i as i am looking to buy one very soon (a good 2nd hand one has come available near me). 1/ can you put snow chains on the 860i 2/ have you found or ever used an adapter to take 3 pt hitch equipment. many thanks
someone else asked me about chains and I said no but he then said he has seen them with chains. I am in snowy Canada and see no use for chains in my useage, the terrain tires are surprisingly good for traction. 3 point hitch adapters are commo9n but I have never used one....I am in Ontario and have this for sale, are you interested?

man i just put a piece of tin foil in there against the splash guard, the oil hit that and came right down, didn't spill a drop. But it was a really stupid design i agree. swapped out to a 90 ez oil drain.

I bet by 26.08 you forgot thoes two turns on the oil filter.got done.started it up.went to use it and it came loose and fucked your engine? Hope it has a low oil shutdown.😂😳
