Loved that! And his last bit in the show about silliness. I'm a 67 year old grandma who is actually very silly with the grandkids. The parents look down on it. But it's necessary in life. You need to keep your joy and Joe you are a blessing for reminding us.

mental health is often a neglectedcondition that people take for granted as most times it doesnt manifest externally, kudos for raising . Personally l wear headphones most times as I suffer from auditory hallucinations and anxiety and standup is a cure for me.

I made the mistake of starting to watch this around 1am not realising how long it was. It's now 3.17am and I'm sad that it's finished. You made me laugh, I love that you troll people in a fun way rather than a malicious way and my brain just decided you and James Veitch would be the epitome of chaotic good.

With the world being messed up as it currently is, and with me being sucked into the whole 'Ricky-Gervais-are-some-jokes-too-offensive' thingy, I kind of lost the joy of stand-up.
While awful/dark jokes have their place, Joe's stand-up is like snuggling up in a warm blanket with a lovely cup of tea. Superb sardonic comedy that's both nostalgic & modern.

His whole "story" about being fake person on the right is hilarious, because ... well I won't openly say what his glaring errors were, but the first is to assume all right wingers love Katie Hopkins. Granted this is just a fun story where the audience gets to laugh at people.... and promote a religion that hates gay people, whilst denigrating a local political party for doing the same, despite any modern evidence of that. and this is why 🤡 clownworld became a thing.

Just to let you know most trans people don’t use transsexual as a word to describe them, it’s more preferred to use the word “transgender” as “transsexual” is outdated and could be seen as a derogatory term in the past (also “tranny” was/is also used as a slur these days and in the past :/ )
