I live in Scotland but it is great to hear others seeing these views for the first time and how they react. First time for me was forty years ago but still have same response as you guys. As for Scottish hospitality, the problem is staffing. They cannae dae it aw themselves and they cannae get staff. Only option is to shorten hours. It is a recent issue that is getting worse. (Brexit, Covid, the lizard aliens running the world- take your pick) I stopped at the Altguish myself this year but had to wait hours to get a meal as they don't open at all for lunch during the week. And that was high summer! Lovely lady took pity on me and let me in early though and the food was great. Thanks for the upload and looking forward to next one.
This takes me back to our 2019 summer holiday in Scotland. Two weeks road trip in this beautiful country. Applecross pass and ilse of skye we also visited. Love to go back again.
Loved Applecross Pass, NC500 is a trip I definitely want to do again, views and roads were stunning
Now that's given me a reason to get back to Scotland, never got that far on my last trip great Video again Bruce, Spot on 👍
The part 10:52 where you say it's part of the best riding.. that brought back scary memories for me..
This is where on my second NC500 trip, first ever trip alone...first trip on the new to me RS1200.. I'd gotten carried away after finishing the NC route at approx 4pm mid October and added on a whole lap of the isle of Skye..
Then on the way back to Muir of Ord for my hotel I realised every fuel station on my route would be shut when I reached it..
So clambered back to the Kyle of Lochalsh for fuel then hit this junction at approx 8pm...rode it in pitch black through over-tiredness with candle light bulbs.. so I've never seen that stretch in daylight! Was so tired I was struggling to keep awake and had to follow a quick driving local in a sporty yaris 😆
Where Eagles Dare!!!! Is this actually Scotland???? Looks more like somewhere in Canada........absolutely breath taking views. And what amazing roads to enjoy it all on.
@TeapotOne great to watch you all up here and i'm just waiting for our 2024 summer tours tours starting again :) Agree 100% where the best roads start :) Ride safe Sir
I love how you are still just as 'Blown away' but the views even though you have seen them a number of times Bruce... I can't imagine you will ever get bored of them. Epic.
NC500 with my son in April on 125’s! Can hardly contain my excitement. Done it all in cars over the years but this is special.
Just what’s needed on a cold stormy winter night. Cracking content. Really is a fantastic part of the world. Good to hear everyone enjoying it. Well done all. Roll on spring!
For over forty year I’ve spent a few weeks every year in the Highlands but with a motorhome . I live in Wales but the long journey there is always so worthwhile. Love your channel B even though I only had a BSA Bantam in 1968 for a year. At my age I need travel with at least a bog and a bed ! Thanks for sharing.
Definitely my favourite roads in Scotland. Did that stretch last June myself, had a perfect day's ride in perfect weather. Only gets better when you're with your mates on comms.
Can't believe that was only 30mins Bruce! Brilliant video, top man.
Cheers Rich 👍
I can't believe how narrow some of those roads are. Absolutely beautiful ride.
Yes Bruce, The Quairaing must be walked, it is just amazing. Great vid....
Great vid mate need to get my ass up there asap👍
Fantastic footage, empty roads, all beautiful but nearly 700 bloody miles from my house. Gonna have to make a long weekend of it this summer
Stunning… and only 120 sleeps till I get to do it too!!! Woohoo 🤗🤗👍🏼👍🏼
As much as I like the pass the coast road from Applcross is just a brilliant road to ride
Delightful. I feel I’m riding with you all. Love these roads. On them several times a year and never ever tire of them. Cracking vid. Always love when Scotland gets showcased. Cheers mucker!!! 💙🏍️🏴
Like what I've seen so far, Bruce, but will have to return tomorrow to see if you spotted any of those Golden eagles. They're beautiful birds, and pretty massive!
Brilliant love the shout out
After wanting a motorcycle since I was 14, im finally getting one at 24! The wait has been long but it is finally time. The NC500 is in my top 3 of rides to do, it truly is a stunning place. Cheers Bruce!
Scenery overload, I would have stopped for the eagles
They were in the process of flying off as we arrived, pretty lucky to have seen them there really 👍
Superb
Brilliant vid Bruce, im going up there end of feb (on the best bike in the world) andi cannot wait
Wow, I loved that Bruce and gang. I’m sat here in Ireland with -5C temp outside and I just want to go out on my bike after watching this! 🥶 Superb vid.

Beautiful, to many CZcamsrs and camper vans now though😀😀
@5:46 You've managed to capture Frodo and the Fellowship on their travels.
A stunning day. The weather helped but what views and roads👍 fingers crossed we are as lucky this year 🤞
Cheers Jeremy, can’t wait bud 👍
After four days of haggis in a row, I had "dehli belly" hit hard in a Yamaha dealer. Wrecked the tiny loo and left very quickly after :)
Done this last summer too, honestly all the pictures and videos dont do the view any justice. Awesome roads and scenery.
Great video bruce and amazing views thinking of doing this on my Sym NHT 125cc adventure back end of April this year.
i am in honest AWE of the vistas you guys experienced up there in a place i call home... love it
Aye it’s just a beautiful place isn’t it bud 👍
@@teapotone am 40 this year in June I would love and seriously considering travelling home (Scotland) after TT I am off the week immediately after the 2 week period
What more can a biker wish for , fantastic views and footage guys , love it ❤👍
Missed Skye out last year so definitely doing it this summer
All very familiar roads with great memories.
Funny you mention doing that route the other way at 27:35 - This is what I love about Scotland, you can do a route clockwise but then when you do it it the other direction it's a TOTALLY different ride.
👍
So many memories. Thanks to your vids myself and my brother did that route August just gone. Myself on a Fazer and my brother endured it on a Honda Firestorm. He looked broken on the last day lol. We're doing it again this year but counter clockwise.
Excellent video as always, keep up the inspiring work.
That’s awesome to hear bud!
Have a great trip going the other way round 👍
Saw your video last year riding Quiraing..so this year before I caught the ferry from Uig to Tarbet to see family...I made time to do the pass on me Harley. My god it's stunning...also few days later did Applecross again. 2022 and 2023 weather was great both time for riding the pass. :) Love your vids.. (Btw..2022 I did the North to South route...2023 I did South to North..which is a better view)
Really enjoyed watching this film 🎥 🍺🍺
Thank you 👍
Cracking vid mate. I'm sure you get more Scottish when you're in the motherland 😂
So cruel releasing this in January with ice on the driveway outside! Just mad to think that all of that is actually in the UK! Love it
Brilliant video Bruce. Stayed at the Aultguish last year after watching your first flying Scotsman and it’s a cracking place. Waiting for the next instalment already 👍👍👌
Absolutely fantastic route. I need to do it again now after seeing this.
Beautiful 🤩 absolutely love the apple cross but then I love riding in Scotland full stop cracking vid as ever 😎👌
Thanks very much bud🙏👍
Fabulous route - I ride it every time I go home. All the best, Bruce, ride safe.
Doing the pass on a Superduke? I did it and the NC500 on my Superduke GT. 99% of the performance with a good tank range and panniers. Perfect combo 😁👍
I recognise so many of these roads.
Been on them a few times over the years.
Them roads and views look awesome, 🏍👍👌
Gorgeous 🤩 Amazing routes and landscape ! Thx Bruce for the sharing ✌️
This is truly inspiring. what a fabulous tour. I have to do this. Never mind all the European options. This involves no water crossing, just a great ride North (for me). Love it, love it.
Amazing video. Great atmosphere, perfect views. Waiting for day 4 video!
Love it, we've done the pass to Applecross boh ways those roads are stunning and over to Ullapool is just 🥰 cant wait to go back thanks Bruce 👍🏼
Cheers Rob 👍
Amazing, simply amazing!! Thanks for sharing Bruce! 👍👍
Can confirm it's bumpy on a sports bike. My old man did it on a ZX-9R
Awesome video, Skye is such a magic place, the geology is amazing how the ground has heaved up creating amazing scenery. The rest of the video did disappoint either just superb 😀👏👏
Absolutely love watching this I visited Scotland for the 1st time with my wife in 2019 and we did the NC 500 in our mini

Ha Ha, there’s still some blank bits sadly, but I’m doing my best to fill them in 😉👍
Bruce…. will the route be the same for the up and coming tour in May?
If so then fantastic 😊 especially if the weather is favourable. Thanks mate and loving this vlog 🙌🏻
Yes bud, this is the ‘Flying Scotsman’ route we do.
We’re doing another route this year on a different tour called ‘Beyond 500’👍
great video again, what was the name of the cafe with the view you stopped can I ask?
Hi Teapot. I’m new to your fantastic channel. So helpful especially in regards to the brilliant Calimoto. I have signed up for the BMW Motorrad trip to Norway and the Arctic circle in July which I am really looking forward to. I’m on a R1250GSA and considering investing in a Go pro. When I watch for example your Bike safe videos you have 3 cameras. Can I ask how you control them as I notice there is no remote on your handle bars?
Hi Bruce, nice ride! Which tires are you riding on for this tour? Are you satisfied? Thanks, Marc, Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦😉🏍
Great video as always. How do you get the comments through your CZcams mic? Thanks
Cheers, it’s just some cabling
Want to record cardo audio on your GoPro? Here's how!

@@teapotone thank you
Hi Bruce, when was this filmed,I take it was some time ago, as you now have a 1300 do you not?
Hi Bruce, what is the road on skye with the Airpins please 🙏 I'm going in May
Quiraing, running between Uig on the West coast and Staffin on the East coast, north of Portree. 😎🏴
👍
Thank you very much Bruce I cant wait.
Bruce, awesomely done again!,
Question: what chest harness are you wearing? I’ve been trying to figure this out for months now! Can you mention the brand, maybe an affiliate link? I’d definitely buy through you. Thanks!
It’s just the Kriega R30 rucksack, but I have some extender straps which give me a bit more room over the top of the Helite Air vest I wear.
If you need the extender straps, just drop Kriega a line and say you saw them here, they’ll do you a set for free 👍
@@teapotone Brilliant! Thank you, Bruce!!
