Thanks a bunch. Just a warning though, don’t mess around with control panel. I’m pretty sure the 16x filtering on specifically bugged my game to hell and artifacts and flickering happened and took me hours to figure out a fix. Essentially had to delete nvidia dx files to restart shader compilation after failing driver and game reinstalls. Was a nightmare.

picking preset f is just wrong. preset f is made for ultra performance mode (33% render scale). but the minimum render scale you can set ingame is 50%. so the right preset is C (made for quality(66%)/ balanced(58%)/performance(50%) mode) because its made for least ghosting, best suited for fps games. using a preset made for ultra performance mode (F or B) will give you the worst image quality out of them wihtout any upsides. so guys pls take preset C instead of F. you will immediatly notice a less blurry image.

are you playin this on steam? i couldnt get my nvidia counter to work on this game playin on the xbox app for whatever reason. its like the game isnt actually playing in full screen.
it helps a little but honestly.....I think Bethesda just can't optimize city settings. I can hit 70-80 FPS no problem outside of cities but soon as I get to one, FPS drop. Was the same issue in Fallout 4 whenever I hit Diamond City. Just massive FPS drops
Usually in Bethesda games that due to CPU usage not gpu, as more ai and items happens it shreds the CPU. Skyrim is notorious for this in whiterun.
while there is little performance difference dlss looks better. saw another video showing much less flickering for example
Dlss runs the same or 1 fps better however it runs much better
Bless modders, i purchased the game, honestly enjoy it, but the performance and settings just are lacking for me. I feel like cyberpunk looks much better and it has driving yet runs so much smoother. Hopefully we get more performance patches down the line but for now those modders have allowed me to enjoy the game

now my game won't even launch? any ideas? its just saying the game has crashed... was working before this. I removed the files and it works again so im not sure why it won't launch, i rewatched and have retried 3/4 times still crashes with the mods
now would this upscale work when im streaming cause i notice that most of my lags comes from streaming
Who ever is downloading Nvidia DLSS DLL file try version 2.5.1 rather then latest one, seems to work better and more FPS at least for me on a i9 13900k and 2080TI card
Game pass user here, did everything like you did to perfection but the game always crashed after the press any button screen, idk why it did that but i deleted the mods folder and the dll and it launched just fine
Update turned off windows defender and it worked, beautiful performance increase

for fellow 2080 super users , the dlss made me win 4 to 6 frames , its not much but when you play you will notice that the sttutering is gone , btw i use custom preset i lower shadows and reflections to low and put everything in high , have fun

I've installed it and can bring up the menu but I don't see the presets option. Did I miss something?
FSR2 Bridge is better, even tho it did not improve fps like the one Puredark created (Which it crashes ALOT). It actually improve stabilty of the framerate (fps graph) and did not crash at all.
I’ve tried both. And while FSR2 Bridge is better for DLSS 2. If you have a 40x card PureDarks works tonnes better with the Frame Generation Version.

My monitor is 2560x1440 and i'm setting render resolution scale to 75% but the plugin says resolution (1280x720) -> (2560x1440). Any idea why this happens?

Anybody else have the issue if you hit END, there is no option available to select within Upscale Type?
After installing with FSR2 switched on, I have my full HUD but everything else is a black screen. Strangely I'm also seeing an FPS bump when switching Upscaling to CAS.

for those having issues with launch, disable steam overlay and try again. if problem still persists, try disabling any external overlays such as of Nvidia GeForce experience, Xbox app, etc. and restarting.
Also if you just want to remove the mod, after deleting the changed files and folders, just do integrity check instead of full reinstall.

DLSS doesn't work on 10 series GPU's only 20 series and above
dlss 3 wil do waymore for the 40series then it does for this using a 3090...
fsr 2 is bugged and doesnt really work in general at the moment
You have to adjust the render resolution slider with FSR2 enabled.
on nexus mods it says that it only works with dlss2 and not 3 as stated in this video....???
Nexus one in video uses DLSS 3 version but doesn’t use Frame Gen. 3.5 that is used in video and mod allows DLSS 3 on all cards excluding frame generation. If you wanted frame generation you need PureDarks version which you need to pay for his Patreon

Cheers, no real performance gain but absolutely looks better with DLSS, FSR is generally a little more blurry, everyone should do this (with Nvidia RTX 2000+ cards)

I get the same FPS on high settings 1440p on a 3080 without any of these mods. Seems pointless.
You could run the game at 4K and downscale it to 1440p with DLSS, how is that pointless
the point is not the fps... performance wise it doesnt make a real difference using fsr or dlss BUT dlss has a way better image quality. fsr always has flickering "stairs", dlss not.
Preset f is not the best lmao, according to the mod author, DLSS f is made for ultra performance mode (which would be 30%), for quality it’s either default, B, C or D.
Then preset f actually is the best, genius. He’s specifically targeting fps boost
@@davidwilliams6392 bro are you dumb? Presets don’t have performance difference, they are supposed to be chosen to match the DLSS preset on the game, they’re not the preset. The presets are the same on every game and preset f is made to be enabled when you enable fsr ultra performance or DLAA, while preset C is the default that you should use when enabling DLSS quality.
Starfield has no presets but percentage, 66% is equal to do quality, 60% is balanced and 50 is performance, ultra performance would be 30% but you can’t go below 50 in starfield.
@@davidwilliams6392 You can't get any fps boost when literally everyone's systems are going to be bottlenecked by the CPU in this game unless you're running a very weak gpu. Without FSR I get 60-80 fps with a 4090, with FSR i get the same performance on a 12700k.

@@ReikiMaulana It's a CPU/Memory bandwidth problem with the game, a 13900k with a 4090 at 1080p low should not be getting 150 fps in a game like this

I got maybe 2 fps more.... rtx 3070. Plus the game seemed to freeze and crash more then ever had in 18 hrs of game play. Just wait for real dlss not a mod. It's not working very well game is poorly optimized plain and simple

The point isn’t in fps gains. Dlss has better visuals and less artifacting.

Will this work if I use the pathway C/steamlibrary/steam apps/common/Starfield?
if you look closely, is Content folder is the same as your Starfield folder from your steam version, so yes it will work the same.
i wouldnt think so because your not going into the install directory for this. this is separate from that
