Tinupigan - The “Bread” of the Past! (Corn + Sweet Potato Version)

We present to you another taste from the past, when commercial bread is non existent but crops are abundant. Our great grandmother used to serve this to our mother when she was young and now, she's passing this tradition to us. Tinupigan is a mixture of corn and sweet potatoes but peanuts can be added if available. Tinupigan can be a bit weird to taste at first especially if you were used to bread and sweet treats, however, once you get used to it, you'll gradually get a taste for it. Dont let it restrain you from adding additional sweetness like sugar or honey to suit your taste.
