I remember back when I ran a video store when I heard this was being made, and I was SO excited when I received one of our monthly buyers guides that had the ENTIRE back cover as an ad for this, I immediately ordered three copies for the store & kept the catalog! Pretty sure we got a free copy of Crash & Burn by ordering the 3-pack, which was good, because some asshat still had our only copy out for nearly two weeks!
Sorry, have fond memories of those days, they were a fun time!

Little fun fact. The car Jack drove in the first movie was a Ford Thunderbird. In this movie he drove a Chevy Corvette. Both those car models were made to compete with each other back when they were first manufactured. They did that for the car buffs to notice. I just thought it was a cool hidden in plain sight gem.

Helen's dad Gordon, who passed away last year, worked at Hanna-Barbera Productions as a voice director and gave his daughter some early work.
There is a special place in my heart (somewhere in the middle and to the left) for the Trancers series -- especially the first three. Thank you for this video.

Same here.... grew up in the 80's and rented every Full Moon and Troma Movies I could find. They are like a diary..... I can remember certain times in my life when I watch these movies......

It's amazing the stuff you pick out of a movie when you've seen it one too many times.
Reminds me of a Dave Chappelle stand-up routine (Killing Them Softly, I think) that I had seen it plenty of times already because I didn't really have anything else to watch.
Over the MANY times I saw it I noticed something. He was performing in a (performance) theater of some kind as there was a small middle section that came out further into the audience, chairs were arranged in 3 sections, the middle section facing forward, the left section facing towards the middle, and the right section also facing towards the middle.
Well, in the right hand section, Dave Chappelle's left, there's an Asian dude, real young, doesn't even crack a smile THE ENTIRE show, looks like he's absolutely hating life.
Now there's 2 different audiences in the recording (2 different nights), you can tell because the audience changes throughout the recording, so TBH I thought he was pissed about the part when Dave pokes fun at Asians but upon further investigation he's just pissed from the beginning.
Meanwhile, his buddies around him are laughing their asses off, I'm pretty sure their his buddies because they keep turning to look at him (the Asian guy) to see if the stick finally came out of his ass, they also look the same age.
Anyways, I get a kick out of watching that dude because he looks so unreasonably unhappy.
But like I said, amazing the stuff you pick out when you've seen something one too many times. Like after finding this I thought to myself, "Man, I think I've seen this too many times." Then I had a chuckle at how lame I was, then I just sat there for a moment, thinking, somehow, that I made a connection with that Asian dude in the recording.

Hmmmm... Do you have your own best of list for full moon? I'm sure there are a ton of them out there but I'd be interested in your two sense. I've always been a fan of the guy who did trancers and dollman. Definitely gonna check out dollman vs demonic toys. Haven't seen that one since it was new.

@@GoodBadFlicks funny enough, I find "Trancers 2" to be most emotional of the first 3 films. And the reason for the response, is how Jack Deth told Alice (his wife from the future) that if she goes back up the line (via the serum) she'll be murdered the day after she goes back and that she died in Jack's arms, but her life begins anew if she goes back using the TCL Chamber.
I now want a watch that will bring me "Back to the Future". Not in time, I just want it to bring me any of the three on dvd.😂😂😂
I never really liked Charles Bands style of movie but watching your videos have given me a new appreciation for Full Moon movies and all the hard work that goes into filmmaking just to bring us ridiculous entertainment.
Trancers 2 is also the movie that hooked me on Full Moon... and rabidly. I obsessively had to watch them all. Great videos btw
Loved this series. Although I still love the 1st one most. You should do a recap of Cemetery Man (1994) That was such a weird zombie romance flick.
Wow, I remember all these Full Moon films - I went through and rented a lot of them in college and afterwards. Such great b-movies.

Given the time frame when it was made-and the budget constraints-I'd bet money those were props from The A-Team. They never used stocks-or actually hit shit-either.

I was introduced to trancers from Evil Bong films. Trancers 1 and 2 are epic! But does anyone know how Rabbit was brought back to life for the evil Bong series . He isn't specific in evil Bong 1. about where he is from or who he works for.

You can play a drinking game over how many times Jack Deth says McNulty's name repeatedly, also its an odd obsevation but I noticed there are lots of tight close ups on the actors faces like as if they're addressing the camera.
I love how the Trancers burn up like in the old TV series The Invaders
The dry-hair-is-for-squids rule gets broken slowly over the course of the first three movies. In the first movie, he _always_ slicks his hair back. In this movie, he only slicks his hair back when he’s ready for action, but at least he has it slick backed about half the time. And in the third movie he has a brush cut! In the fourth and fifth movies he has a mullet but I don’t want to think about those.

I'm very surprised he hasn't covered Enemy Mine yet. There's another CZcamsr named Oliver Harper who does retrospectives almost as good as Cecil's, and he did one on Enemy Mine. I'd love to see Cecil aka GoodBadFlicks guy 😁 do an episode on it, as well.

Enemy Mine was a great movie. Rewatched it not too long ago actually.

I watched The Explorers recently and it didn’t hold up to my childhood memories.
This is a fun sequel with one of the most beautiful actresses i have ever seen Megan Ward.I love her character here its is such a badass character with unlimited sex appeal to me.
Trancers 2 is the best in this series.
So, it's kinda like how I came into the series during The Temple of Doom, and it's my favorite, problems and all.

MY OWN OPINION ON THE (B)Rated SET MOVIES THAT IS TITLED (TRANCERS)
I enjoyed watching all of them, and to add I thought some of them were great to had seen.
An so I strongly think that (Trancers) the movie deserves to be rebooted, or at least be made into a show series.
