That's because that's basically how you play AM, your team makes space while you farm for timings. If games are tough then you split and make space. AM usually only fights after his 2 or 3 item timings. Anti fun :D
@@1995Milky1995 Not sure why more people don't understand this. If your hard carry is AM then it's incumbent upon the whole team to make sure he has the space to farm. It's literally in their best interest. This means: rotating when AM is in danger of getting ganked, calling missing, stacking camps and trying to ensure that he's not constantly getting stopped before he can get BF. If teams fail to do this then their AM will be worthless and probably get manta style much later than when it is actually useful.

Safelane Medusa is dogshit because she's literally slowest hero in the game in terms of power spike. She ain't strong unless she's ahead in the mid-late game by 6-8k in networth against your own cores. She needs 15k worth of item just to be a "hero" or else she's a walking creep. You need to play her game in order to win. The rapier build is literally stupidest build because it's the highest risk and highest reward in certain situations. Lastly, all current S and A tier heroes runs over Medusa.

Yeah I started maining slark a few months ago and then wondered why I never played him before haha he's so easy to get fb with to set yourself up in lane with just an orb of venom and basically any other slow from a support
Cause he's literally strong on any part of the game. He can man up and 1v1 any hero from lvl 1. You literally need atleast 3 heroes to kill a Slark. He's mediocre at farming but still strong with only one item(diffusal). Good laner because he has high starting regen. He can lock down high mobility heroes and shreds tanks. Perfect at pick offs.

I've been spamming lycan a bit in offlane. That way if I can't end the game myself (actually most of my lycan games in crusader) there's a backup plan.

I mean offlane can produce the same result as safelane sometimes. I remember that at a time there was a strat to switch safe lane pairings to the offlane so that they wouldn't have to match up against annoying tanky offlaners that often make life a bit hard, so they would prefer going Pos 1&5 vs enemy Pos 1&5, both squishy lanes. So it's not always bad to be a a Pos1 in off lane, but of course you won't have tower and Lvs advantage, and lane pulling, but it's also easier to see ganks coming from mid lane. So you can still do very well with Lycan offlane if your Pos 4 is willing to support you and not roam. Lycan last hits very well so you'll get the majority of gold in the offlane whether your 4 wants you to or not, it's just they might get upset you picked a carry for the 3 role and isn't sharing any last hits, so they just leave you there alone and go roaming.
I agree with what you are saying about Lycan's win timing, which is why me and my friend play Morph and Lycan together. Basically I am Pos 1 safe laner, but I'm going to make sure he can take over the game when I start to fall off. Obviously Lycan can push very well and so space is easily created, but If there is another hard carry on my team that went mid, I'll buy an aghs at around the 30 min mark, and a Morph that's been turned into a wolf is utterly insane. There are a lot of carries that can do crazy things with that kind of move speed, crits, can't be slowed, and have shared life steal. It's just most of those heroes want the safe lane carry position which Lycan has. Like I said, most Pos 4's won't appreciate having to baby sit a carry and give up CS on purpose, and Lycan isn't ideally a mid hero, and not a lot of mid heroes scale to be late game hard carries, so if you play Lycan Pos 1, you better end the game quick unless you have a Pos 2 mid that can scale into a hard carry. That's just what I have noticed. So I don't really spam Lycan, I just pick him under those ideal conditions.
I don't agree that Lycan is a brain dead easy hero. He's high value for moderate difficulty, but he isn't as easy as a Wraith King. I wonder if people forget that micro managing creeps with abilities actually requires skill. You can scout with invis wolves, and if you buy TP boots later in the game, you can scout the enemy jungle with invis wolves, and if you see a lone vulnerable hero, you can transform and then TP onto your creep wolf, and have the wolf trailing the victim and then like a hell hound, you just pop out of no where and rip them the shreds. So Lycan requires some mechanical skills and does have some brainy things you can do. When you are chasing supports, they often have stuns and disables, and they have force staff and glimmer cape, so I noticed sometimes it was hard to go after supports first thing, but if I run my creeps at them and my main hero at them in different directions, they can't stun them all at once, and if they are trying to glimmer or force staff, I have to swap controls to ranged necro unit and purge them quickly. So Lycan normally has to go BKB to run through all the BS that will get thrown at him, but even BKB doesn't last for his whole ult duration, so you have to be able to dodge abilities or you will just be getting kited in fights your whole ultimate duration, and w know that once you turn back into a human, you aren't very useful anymore and it's time to leave and go farm again. So yeah, I have played a lot of difficult heroes, and Lycan is by no means easy or brain dead.

Bojan Rajacic yeah I thought it was strange that it was put into D tier, but if you notice, most carries that rely on life steal and regen were not in the high teirs, and that's because Spirit vessel counters just about all of those type of heroes, and in higher brackets, where every role itemizes responsibly, spirit vessels get bought damn near every game. Now a Spirit Vesel isn't going to stop a fully farmed alch, but until also gets armor, his regen is about all he has in the sustain department. So now you can understand why he is placed where he is.

Actually you should add a situational ensures the gameheroes like morp/alchem/pa/medusa because doesnt matter if they die a lot early/mid if unless you dont get directly countered you can win a lot even more ensured if the game goes late.
you dies lane it means not you only loses gold and feed enemy it also means you lose your timings. if those hero loses their timing its gg who waits medusa to carry the game at 50min
Wraith king is just so fucking funny. Lvl 3 with 2 branches and a quelling blade and I can crit someone for 300 even if they have like 2 armor. It's nutty, you just automatically win if you get a crit. It's like a void bash except you bash 3 times. You can bully them SO much, especially if they're a melee off laner. One good bang and a strong reaction from your support and you can take out 60-70% of their life and force them to salve or lose a wave.

If Drow is a very regular hero in pro level pubs why is she so low rated in the tier list?
How was Morph buffed? He received no change in 7.25 patches and EBlade attribute dmg was nerfed, beside the BFly agi reduced by 5.
I think the issue with Jugg is he doesn't come online as fast the other top rankers on the list, even if he does he doesn't feel as threatening as a PL or WK. I don't know what they meant by 'regular' because I never see pro players picking Drow. Eblade was buffed for the early game damage and nerfed for it's scaling.
@@ararararagisan5954 Well regular in pro pub games, not regular in pro matches. And EBlade is in theory better in early worse in late but in morph's case where you shift your attribute, the attribute damage matters more
@@WyshMast3r Even in pro pubs, the hero is not usually picked. People know it can be countered quite well, Drow has a fairly low pick rate I'm sure, pickrate is 2% in divine. Regarding Eblade, that's true. But if morph has a 100 agi, the old and the new eblade would do the same amount of damage. So morph needs more than 100 agi for the new blade to be seen weaker. In high mmr, since games end fast the change doesn't affect much. Not to mention, with static damage you can use it in strength morph to do some decent damage as well.
Playing PL in pubs in this patch is super fun. Hero has very little bad matchups and most of them are laning matchups, if it gets stomped in lane its jungle till yasha diff and you take over the game if its pre 25 minutes
my opinion : Jugg after the 7.25 update deserve A tier, his stats, movement speed and attack animation is so good, so easy to last hit, almost any offlaner can't trade hits with him.. with ags upgrade now he's not kited easily.. I've been spamming ( if not banned) and on 70% win rate.. but what do i know i'm just 5k scrubs..as for PL is still not an S tier, a bit of situational carry, still broken if picked right.
Elevated so on point with spectre, I picked it 3 times , had a good very start but it still so hard to carry the game haunt being so long in cd.. somehow its not that strong anymore..
jugg falls off if your team loses in lane,no matter how you was good in lane and not carry that carrys team 1v9 and super agree with you in PL and spectre. PL is no longer broken hero and spectre is just soo slow for me
The problem with CK is that his illusions suck. Naga can spawn more illusions with a basic spell at a lower cooldown. And PL, well he can constantly create illusions. CK illusions should receive just 100% of the damage, they receive way too much damage to be useful. They get destroyed way too fast to burst enemies properly. His Reality Rift has been buffed, now you can actually catch people. But either he needs more Stat gain to make the illusions tankier naturally or his illusions need to have much better damage resistance.
Wraith King feels good, but he has only around 51% win rate in divine+ last time I checked(2 days ago)

Using ring of tarrasque in Archon and Legend in SEA is suprisingly good.
Alchemist shouls be atleast B-A tier. Won 7games in a row at 4k mmr as safelane alch. Doesnt feel weak in lane at all after lvl5-6 you go jungle and get 10-12 min radiance. By 20min you get 2more items (abyssal,assault cuirras). And just end the game after 20min rosh. No1 Can deal with you this early in the game. I think alchemist is one of those sleeper op heroes. (Similar to lycan i think, playstyle wise aswell)
You guys should consider the active time of hero spells / ultimates. Like CK has a 125 CD with 30 s duration ult, so his ult CD can be as low as 95 s. This type of calculation makes a lot of carries (or any hero) viable / semi-viable.
In almost no circumstances is a ck illusion able to stay alive for the full 30seconds…
Is lifestealer really that bad compared to the other S and A tier heroes to be placed so low?
IMO he feels like just wants to counter tanky line ups, which hes really good against

I think lifestealer is still good, even when your entire team is yolo-ing, if you can get phase, malestorm, and halberd and join a team fight, he can man up, tank and beat down all their cores. The only Problem with him is he's easy to kite and weak against lineups with dispel.
Lifestealer is considered 'bad' rn because he's not that great going against those that are in meta.
When you make your pos 4 tier list, don’t let the low winrate on spirit breaker throw you for a loop. People are trying the bots build, and throwing, but he’s still a great hero.
I love how sniper isnt even a part of the carry list at this point. The hero has been power-creeped to death and i have no idea why icefrog has refused to look at his kit

He's just so bad lmao. The job of the carry is to not only deal the most damage in fights past 20 minutes or so, but carries do get pretty tanky past the 30 minute mark. Supports and the offlaner has trouble killing the carry, but if it's a sniper, I swear to god the p5 and p4 can kill the sniper as a duo for 80% of the game. You hit that guy once and he has to leave the fight unless he has dragon lance, bkb, satanic going at the same time. I feel like headshot needs to actually become a microstun again instead of the little weird dink it currently does, but I don't want to inflict that cancer upon the dota scene again.

Anybody else consider Timbersaw Carry? I feel like the hero is nearly unstoppable if its even a slightly okay game for the hero. Being given the responsibility to farm on timber is very nice aswell.
Weaver is no longer a safelane carry, he's now a very good offlaner that can scale and a decent mid, since he doesn't require a lot of items. Plus Aghs is still one of the strongest save your team mate upgrades in the entire game.

Opinion on dark seer? Feels like he counters a lot of meta heroes right now because the meta carrys are most of the time melee and his winrate did go up 5,4% in divine and immortal when I last saw it on dota plus also his first talent feels really good, maybe I am bias because I play him very well and I feel like he is the perfect playstyle for me when I play offlane also he is strong in late game too (in my opinion at least) the new aghs also is on paper more useful than the old one

I'm surprised Jenkins put Luna in dogshit tier. She is one of my favorite heroes. but I am a huge scrub so take that for what its worth.
-Luna is extremely fast
-She can split push with a lot of damage with x2 wraith band, mask of madness, treads
-she does a ton of magic damage, which you mentioned. Good Luna ulties can really change a teamfight.
-She is versatile. I think you put her in dogshit because she doesnt excel in any one thing, but is very balanced. Luna can do magic damage, split push, physical damage, kite other heroes with her speed / escape bad fights / doesn't necessarily need her ulti to fight / farms very quickly
-her manta illusions are super strong b/c they also get the bounce
-her talents are pretty dang good esp. the lifesteal one
-She stands up great against other cores with Bfly / BkB / Crit / and the lifesteal talent. and you do insane damage, but what hero cant say this...
-No one really expects her to be picked (lol)
-shes pretty good against PL and naga
-shes a good laner, i think this is the most important thing. Easy to win lanes with the right pos 5.

Laning stage is very important in this meta and Luna is kinda dogshit in the laning stage

u know lycan is BS Tier since ive been winning games as core, offlane, or pos4 not even skilling wolves until I finish the HotD rush and then sppam necro. People are undervaluing the Aghs upgrade with another right click core... its kinda busted
Engineers Play yeah not many carries have good aghs, but Lycan's aghs, although it doesn't do anything for him directly other than life steal, it makes your other carry bonkers. So it's a great way to also insure that if the game goes late and you start to fall off and become a rat hero, your other carry will be just stupid broken.
I think riki should be A or S tier tbh. I never have a bad game with this hero and he got me to 3k alongside PL. this hero can just 2-shot supports if you go diffusal into deso. i usually end the game by min 25 with this hero in my bracket
I'm surprised there's no mention of Slardar. He's been my consistent pick and he has really good presence with treads, a bracer or two, blink, and echo sabre. His level 10 talent to regen 8 health is pretty valuable imo as far as most level 10 talents go, you can prime his bash counter to set yourself up with a 3 stun combo, you can fight through magic immunity, his aghs is nice, and he'll murder through most 1v1's.

Nah Slardar is a carry, BUT, this is a Pos 1 safe lane carry video. Slardar is mostly played off lane or Mid. Slardar mid is scary because he moves extra fast in water, so when he grabs a run in water and sprints down the river, ward or no ward, he's likely to get one of you killed on the gank. So he's best as a Mid really.
I agreed with most. But you guys didn't talk about Lifestealer and Juggernaut. But i do prefer Medusa to be at a higher tier than PA and Sven. I'm not looking for arguments , just sharing my opinion.
What do u guys think of LC safelane? Imo it doesnt have a lot of losing matchups and it dumpsters on squishy escape heroes (weaver clinkz etc). I think it sustains lane really well with 3rd and 2nd and segways to jungle more easily than other carries. Seen Miracle play the build and I experjmented and saw really good success with it

Im only 1.5k but ive had so much success with luna maxing glaives 2nd and the aura1st. You hit so hard by lvl 5 and leave the lane and farm like crazy if things dont go so well
Why did he say Naga is hard to execute? I play her a lot with a good winrate and feel like she's kind of mindless. Even against counters if you can stall the game to get her slotted she's a monster. You just farm jungle and push lanes with illusions until you can fight with manta and diffusal. It feels a lot more brainless then the other heroes in A tier.
I think Gyro could be top B tier since with the Flak CD changes he feels much more versatile and is able to farm and fight with wraith + phase + yasha extremely fast and doesn't need a "farming item" like Maelstrom.
On the other hand I would be interestedin your opinion about sniper, while I know that the hero has several drawbacks and issues as a safelaner (and is easier punished in higher level games) I think he could be better than most D-Tiers ?
A fighting build on gyro would prevent scaling. And the main issue with gyro is he has a lot of issues staying alive in teamfights. Unlike other carries, he can't tank nor can he assassinate someone. He just does damage on aoe. Sniper probably cannot be used in the safe lane. It's way too risky because even if you farm a lot, he dies very easily.

I'm really new to Dota (quarantine life ) so yes I'm a noob, but why do people keep quitting the unranked games ? I need like 100 games or hours or something but they keep quitting so the games dont count i assume ? Will this affect when and or how I can unlock ranked games ?

Yes don't do radiance. It's a waste. Diffusal, manta is the best rn.

i have 76% winrate with ursa and 73% with alch so they are my s tier... i mean everyone has his own list like if u give lone druid to rtz he may play like shit but some ppl solo carry with him

I smurf with lone druid on crusader bracket, 78% winrate. He makes enemy very confuse, they don't know what to do whether to kill you first or the bear so they just run. LMAO

Slark bangs cause he has an earlier timing where he destroys - AM, Lifestealer, Wraith King, Void, Morphling and Troll, pretty mean hero.
WTF? Void is probably the best carry against Slark and AM is pretty good against him
Slarks diffusal timing is good enough to hunt Void because he disables Time Walk with pounce. AM is in a similar situation, before he has Battle Furu, you can simply follow Anti Mage around and kill him with diffusal timing, and with smth like a clumsy net, which Extends the disable, it is extremely easy to snowball, trust me.
BASICALLY what im saying is that Slark needs 5k net worth to be very powerful and fight (Diffusal Treads wand + Pupils or Net), Whereas Anti Mage needs roughly 14k net worth ( treads fury manta basher) etc.

This patch encourages aggression and early pushes. Lycan is the best carry for both. Aura items allows you to push constantly without losing tempo.

The WK RTZ build is so OP. Free real estate really, even if you get countered. As long as you stick to the formula and hit timings, even the counters don't matter anymore.

What about Offlane Lycan Aghs + Carry Ursa?
Arnab Ghosh as long as your Pos 4 alright with playing like a Pos 5, most people don't like it, cause Lycan dominates last hits. But if your Pos 4 is not caught off guard and you tell them you are going off Lycan at the beginning of draft phase, they should support you and not go leave you to roam, and in that case, Lycan as an off laner building aghs around the mid game after DoM and Necro book (maybe keep it at lv 1 or 2 until aghs unless you need purge and true sight) is a very strong strategy.
Wasted 3.2k gold for a shitty item likes aghs on Lycan.
Miguel Marti David Aghs gives you 30% life steal, then life share, which means the 30% life steal your teammate has also goes to you. It basically is like a balance between the passive and active on satanic, that's a but load of life steal, so it's hard to die. Then your ally carry is probably not designed to move at 550 or so MS, then they basically get a free Daedalus while they are at it. It's kinda like buying an item for two people that beaks the game. So it's like splitting that 4.2K value in half between 2 people, which means it's value for what it does is way more than it should be doing. If your carry can do something with it, it will win you games.
The whole prospect of picking lycan in the first place is ending the game early. Fast tower pushes and limiting the enemy team's map control. Baaaasically, just ending it fast. Necro and Domi does that for Lycan. It's a simple and very effective formula, that's why everybody is sticking to it.

What we are saying is that Aghs is a viable strategy, because there are games you will see that you won't be able to end quickly, because the enemy team might have strong pushers of their own, or they might rotate very well if your Lycan is the only pusher on your team. Matter fact, going Aghs on Lycan may not even prolong the game, but could end it just as fast, but no one is saying build Aghs at the expense of DoM and Necro book. You may rush Aghs and put off AC or BKB till later, and by doing that, you are telling your other carry that they are the win condition, and this does happen a decent amount of the time to pushing cores. Like I said, no one is saying that you run Aghs every game, but that in the situations that are good for it, it will produce good results.

sniper is not a strong carry hero. Sniper is a mid hero primarily.
Adrian Diaz yeah just get some highly mobile tankers and carries to get past sniper's beefy front liners, and he'll be saying "parting shot" in no time.
i dont have a big brain but i think in lower ranks any hero that does spell and can farm faster are easy to win , like luna she farms very fast and can also do magic damage , WK is for me in dog tier list lol

Believe me or not im recently spamming "carry underlord" in past few days, and trust me, its suupeerr good

Lemme explain u more why.
Underlord is a good early game Hero, strong laner, u can gain so much damage early game, especially if u have chaotic game when everybody fighting, u can gain legit permanent damage when enemies dies near you.
My personal build is : magic Wand, 2 bracer, power treads, Vlad, drum(situational), sange & Yasha,Vanguard (upgrade it to abyssal later) and assault cuirras. Thats my items under 30 min since the game is always ended under 30 min. Also take +movespeed in lvl 10 and +65 attack speed talent in lvl 20

ET safelane is pretty good right now.
I've been getting battle fury for ursa in every single game and it's been so op.
Ursa lacks a farming ability and battle fury allows him to kill any camp/creep wave with a single use of overpower instead of killing only 2 creeps with it and then relying on his very slow attack speed to kill the rest of the wave.
And bf is a cheap item with nice stats 60 damage are pretty good and the mana regen allows ursa to spam earth shock and overpower for mobility and farming off cooldown.
It won't work on high mmr because Ursa is a fighter not a split-pusher. And Ursa falls off regardless of however many items you buy in the late game so increasing your farming speed by sacrificing early game time is not a good thing on a hero like Ursa. The reason Ursa is great this patch is because of the speed at which games are played.
I actually saw a couple of high mmr games where they bought battle fury first item on ursa and it fealt really good when I tried it out

And with the speed the game goes in 3k mmr pubs I really like being able to scale into the late game..
And we gotta remember.. ursa is so slow in taking down towers.. So if my team doesn't account for that all my games would go beyond the 30 minute mark
@@alioulay2701 you do realize that particular game he went battlefury to counter PL right? In high mmr, builds are not static they change from game to game to counter their opponents. If you can't control the tempo of the game, and if you feel the game will end up going long no matter what you do, by all means get battlefury. But that situation is not ideal for an Ursa. There's a reason why Ursa can kill Rosh early, it's to aid you in pushing early. If you take it past 30 mins, even if you are 6 slotted, good hard carries like PL, Terrorblade, Wraith King, Spectre will be able to take you down without too much of an issue. So that's why usually, Ursa players try to dominate the early mid game and get a map advantage early.

I think these "nerfs" are so overhyped, like Weaver for example, dudes its only 0.5 agi per level... a level 10 weaver has only 5 less dmg than before, level 30 weaver 15 less dmg than before. The sucuchi movespeed hurts more, but weaver is still a great carry option when they don't have hard lockdown

Can someone tell me why sniper is no longer considered as a carry? Probably mid, but why not carry? You probably think im a herald who spams sniper. And you are god damn right xD. Seriously tho, why?
At high level games, they know how to deal with him easily. Jump on him and take him down first. Thata why his pick rate at high games is very low
Sniper is something you'd last pick when they don't have good counters. Heroes in A-B can be picked in the first phase.
