I love that Baradun "didn't realize" that Greg was standing in the same spot that Greg's been standing in for 95% of the time since the launch of the MMO.

Technically he's there 100% of the time. The other 'Quest Greg" NPC's around are just copies that don't feel so good and die when their last event trigger is executed.
Now, there might have been a beta (or even alpha) version of SkyCraft that predates Greg. He seems to be tied into most key questlines with even speedrunners talking to him several times, so he was probably one of the first NPC's in the game.
That is, ever since 1998
Adam deserves many awards for that impressively squeaky "Moi?!" of shock and disbelief. That was impressive.

By traveling with Baradun , Greg reached a boiling point where Greg only want destruction and apparently he like to burn stuff now mostly trees because of an old hag.
The more powerful you are as a person, the more selfish and bitchier you are to other people. I mean, look at politicians
Baradun may be worse than Bodger, since he is so powerful and his favorite past time is messing with his fellow NPCs and adventurer sometimes too, by spawn camping them lol

Lol possibly. But it might also be just the only version Baradun has access to in his currently low-powered state due to what happened in the DnD campaign he's in.

I just thought he created a portal then stepped around it so that the adventurer would see him & his port away bringing up her desire to ask about him as he watched on.
No he doesn't. He was just pretending that he was portaling away.
I think this is low level baradun after his powers got reset in D&D. So he can't portal away atm so he just casts illusion to make a portal and runs off to satisfy his ego.

The Rowans of Skycraft are cool (pj try to be nice and heroic, blacksmith is arrogant but nice and the fishman is just the best). It's cools that he isn't always playing an annoying character (like his hilarious half elf) or an as.ho.. like in Bored.

I have this theory that Baradun only hangs out at honey wood because he knows the only other self aware NPCs are bodger and Greg, he's actually lonely, so trounced by 1 line NPCs at Calibor, he needs bodger and Greg, he only acts mean because he's afraid to be vulnerable and show these two he needs them

Would make an excellent character development arc if the adventurers stopped coming and the three self-aware NPCs had to work as a team and save their world themselves... You could call it Three Guys (totally original I know)
I think Adam really enjoys the chance to play such an asshole since his usual characters are wimpy or pushovers. 😂

Now I want to see Baradun’s forced dialogue lines about Honeywood! …and he just portals away to avoid the conversation or starts a cut scene to interrupt the dialogue.
I love how the Teleport Portal spell was just an Illusion.
Baradun's Lore : He's the most amazing sorcerer in the whole Azerim!
Real Baradun : Stealing a magical mask from an innocent shopkeeper lady in the middle of the day and giving her a traumatic experience that she will remember for the rest of her life.
Don't forget that Greg was the first one to bring up the idea of murdering the poor old lady after they almost got caught.
To be fair... it was Bob who provided the traumatic experience... baradun just made an image of himself

I don't know why we all pretend Greg and Baelin aren't the strongest things in the game. They are basically just null stats. Scripted autokills and autoblocks. The ultimate weapons.

My pet theory is that there is no such thing as wizard robes. It’s just that when you’re that powerful it’s inevitable that you’re going to start showing up to work in you bathrobe and everyone will be too afraid to make a thing about it.

There really needs to somehow be an Epic NPC Man MMORPG one day, complete with scripted NPCs which are seemingly aware of themselves being NPCs, as well as them having their own schedules revolving around a day and night cycle, to where they can banter between one another... Would be very entertaining, and if it was ever reality I wouldn't hesitate to pay for a monthly subscription. Would just enjoy being able to actually get lost in a virtual world of Azerim as I have in all of these videos. Just thinking aloud though. Much love from the South Eastern part of the United States. You lot are great and all of the content this channel puts out is absolutely gold.

@@KornelKK13 In their D&D game, he got downpowered (can't have a legendary sorcerer also be a level 1 noob otherwise), and I believe their D&D game is canon to Azerim so it also affects ENPCM. Probably the same reason his iconic 'Portal Away!" was only an illusion this time.
@@DizRupTnz personally I belive that every episode with old clothes takes place before DnD and those with new clothes takes place after the ending of DnD campain.
Officially, their dnd campaigns are canon, so that's why baradun has that outfit. Probably this episode is supposed to be set after this campaign ends
