I'm not impressed by the fact that Jak finally spoke more than just one word (ouch) I'm impressed by the fact that Daxter was carrying clothes large enough for Jak and you couldn't even see them strapped to his body or anything
Gabby Villarreal No, when we encounter “ The Kid” aka 4 year old Jak. Daxter says to Jak, “ Maybe he’s mute, like you used to be”. Naughty Dog never made it clear as to why Jak and Daxter wear aviation goggles on their heads though, the baby version sports them too. The only other character that does is Sig, yet he is the only Wastelander that has them in Jak 3.
@@firionkaiser8291 Yes, there are sound effects when Jak dies or gets hurt etc in the first game, but as Daxter points out when we meet the baby version of Jak in Jak 2 he says " maybe he is mute, like you used to be". So Jak didn't have a voice as such in the first game, his first words were technically, " I'm gonna kill praxis!!" when Daxter woke him up from the torture chair.
Well uhh.....at least Daxter BEGGED him to AT LEAST "say something". He was idiot in the 1st game 'cause he NEVER gave Jak a chance to speak. So thank you Daxter
@@jane1975 um....no not really. Have forgotten? "OUCH" thats his only WORD in the game but only when he gets hurt from enemy attacks or things he's that you shouldn't touch like spikes or electric barriers.
@MrHLGNinja That usually depends on how old you are when you play. Like.. to me, I don't notice it. It's not like they use the F words or anything. It's not that bad. But I agree. The first time I played it, I was like, "WOAH.. DID I HEAR THAT CORRECTLY?"
Ryakkusu There is was a spin-off, Daxter made by Ready at Dawn for the PSP that shows what Daxter did between the scene of a Jak being “arrested” and him reuniting with him at the end. Sadly I wish they would remaster it for PS4 with trophy support, it would be nice to have the entire series on the console. We can forget The Lost Frontier though, although the idea of a Dark Daxter is cute, it negates what we know about him in Jak 3.
All right Jak there’s a lot of pressure on your first line. It’s got to be funny, it’s got to be irreverent and most of all it’s got to be carefully crafted.
I admit it. I love Jak and Daxter as a couple [I like Jak and Keira and Daxter and Tess, too, so I'm not just some yaoi fangirl :P] and this made me squeal. I love the games, they were so fun.

Glad to see he's not a series-long mute. In a game with such great speech animations and voice acting quality from the main characters, it's strange having to play as a mute in the first game. (I just started playing through the HD collection, as I never had a PS2 growing up.)
Well daxter textures in 1 sucked, here it seems more HD and i actually like the textures they did for him, and yeah lips, voice quality and anims from naughty are always excelent, just look at the Uncharted anims from that year, amazing! Even better than kingdom hearts 2 anims with disney being involved as pro animators. You know who are the worst in anims? Bethesda. The ghost bread is the perfect example of immersion break.
SO Bad-ass: "IM GONNA KILL PRAXIS!", that attitude just rocks, he is real bad-ass in Jak II and III, but what happens to jak when IV came out. "OH NO! MEAN ECO-PIRATES! EEK!"...
Nah, they were trying to make the series grow with the players. The kids who played Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy had aged a bit and they didn't want to have them playing kiddie games, so they stayed with their original fans, suiting the game to that age group.
He actually tried talking in the first game but was interrupted by Dexter several times
He wanted to let his feelings known to daxtor before he said something else
It blew my mind when Jak finally talked.
I'm pretty sure it blew everyone's minds.
Ah, the miracle of parenthood. It’s always so amazing to hear your child’s first words.
“I’M GONNA KILL PRAXIS!!”
Ahh, the beautiful memories!
please don't delete your channel
😂😂😂
technically his first words were
"AAH AAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAH!"
I disagree
Yeah he was just screaming
Daxter: - Makes a lot of noise and is being dramatic -
Jak: I'M GOING TO KILL PRAXIS!
Daxter: SHHHH!
lol what great first words
Hell of a way for Jak to say his first words
The fact that those were literally the first words we ever heard Jak say really set the tone for this series going forward.
Heh no one can forget this amazing moment
Imagine if Praxis was SpongeBob and Squidward's boss! That would be terrifying!

@@CesarACastillo Haha it's the lil details like that u should look out for, glad for helping u out though bro
I don’t think those were his actual first words...Daxter would have heard him talk tons of times, it was just the first time WE ever heard him talk.

they should've used Morgan Freeman for his voice, that would change the world
Lol
Ah, the wonders of Dark Eco.
Aww my first words were "BEER!"
“NOW!”
I speak my first words and immediately try to kill my best friend.

1:56 didn't you run off scared and basically lefted jak for dead just to star in your own game?
Lol😂 Wait a second...does Jak wear prison clothes?
The whole game was his journey to save Jak, he wasn't just meandering around there the end of the game leads into this scene where they meet again.
2:08 Famous first words.
jak is so cute

damn I felt like I could play the game once the scene ended XD
I didn't know "crap" was a cuss word.
Arcadia It isn’t, people are just overly sensitive. I don’t consider “ damn” as a swear word either, only devout Christians find it so.
So this Ray make jak talk ok then
AHHAHHAHAHHAAAAAHHHHHHHHAHAHHHAAHAAAAAAAAA 0:51
Daxter said crap in the first game.
I'm kinda dissapointed on how any of the characters are not surprised by Jak talking :/
