- I've been working hard lately on something new in the Philippines. It will take a while, but I think it could be a positive project!
This is another day in our life video from the coast of Cateel, Davao Oriental. Raw and real experiences, working on new projects, and explaining this new journey I am going on... One by drone. All around the Philippines!
So much new stuff going on everyday here along the coast...

Johndee holds your community in good shape, with proper foods on the table.Just imagine the planning of what to prepare for all the guys in the house.
The guys can use some non-greasy foods sometimes. Too much oil, typical local cuisines are too greasy.
Jondee is a fabulous cook my family always get hungry 😋 watching him prepare food for you all 👍👍brilliant vlog again guys 👏👏👏👏👏🏴
Your everyday Vlog is like a TV series to me. Always make abang the susunod na kabanata.😃 Kulas Fan here. Power on.👌

I think Jondee should start a cooking show in CZcams…
🤩 Jandee don't use the chicken salt 🤣 btw that inun-uan is so delicious! My husband remembers the term used haggard referring to a big bike 🤩.
What a beautiful sight - lovely to wake up seeing that beautiful sunrise... ❣️ My heart feels excited whenever I see those ....🙏 Goodluck with your drone channel. We've watched the 2 videos and can't wait for more (MG & Brian)
Yes, engineering blue prints required all over USA. You provide these to the local county and they must approve it for building laws, etc…
Thank you to all of you by being examples to save the turtles and the sharks and addressing the stray dogs, trash, etc…
It’s essential to educate the public on such things. Kulas you have a huge reach and I hope more ears will listen. Thank you to you and The Filipino Beach Boys.

Kulas you're right about the Treasure. The treasure is Mindanao and the people that you meet. I miss Mindanao since i left in 1980. Apir Man and Always be Positive you inspire me so much about Life. Shout Out to Board Rescuers i wish you working in California you will make a lot of money fixing surfboards.
Love it when you said that the real treasure is that beautiful and amazing environment. Power on!
Beautiful sunrise as you wake up❤️everyday is a new day, love yr new, Channel, becoming Filipino drone, Power On,!!!
Some people have mentioned that sharks cannot breath without swimming. *This is not true*
Well it isn't exactly false either... Basically there are two types of shark, pelagic and benthic; and the distinction between those two are important in this discussion. Pelagic sharks are those that live in the open ocean while benthic sharks live in shallower waters like reefs and seagrass meadows. The general rule is that pelagic sharks cannot breath without swimming while benthic sharks can. Benthic sharks have the ability to move water through their gills without swimming. They can close their mouths and force the water inside to pass through their gills.
Muchas gracias por la informacion.
The true Australian chips is with chicken salt haha! Yes, we had that big site plans too even when we did our little renovations. The SUP is looking good. Province life is not complete without the rooster. We love your new YT channel #BecomingFilipino Drone. 😊
Not just buildings, roads, bridges, sewers, trainlines, even boats, cars and land etc..... they are all started from a drawing or design.... a lot of it is done on computer nowadays with CAD but actual hard copies are still required for planning processes etc...... I worked as an Engineers assistant when I first left school, working on a local new road project and maths is a big part of an Engineers / Designers / Architects job...... it's things we take for granted, like the road not flooding or the floor of your house being level.... even your car door opening and shutting and not letting water in when it rains...... it's all down to someone who worked out how it should all fit together, whether by hand or by computer.
Good vibes always! John D is a great cook:)
wow awesome that you are showing places on drone where i never been able to see
Wazzzuupp KULAS watching from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Always good vibes.
Jundee. Cooks with love, you can see. I love how you all eat together. Beautiful drone footage. Good luck with your other channel, not that you will need it. You're a master at flying the drone. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day.
That sunrise is freakin amazing. You guys are living the life.
Same meaning for haggard. They are just referring it to a motorcycle that is falling a part, customized and not the usual brand model type of vehicle.
WOW What a morning photo Beautiful . be safe from Australia David & Tess
Good morning from Vancouver B.C 😊❤ #BecomingFilipino 😁 Your life in the coast is everyone's dream❤So inspiring vlog everyday 😊Thank you💕Take care always 💕 🇨🇦
Glorious sunrise! Wishing you all the best with your new endeavor!
Yes when I moved into my home in California I found the "Blueprints" to the house in the closet. Every house starts with "Blueprints" showing the design aspects used to build the house. This has always been done at least for years since my home is a large home built in 1950. This is what mechanical engineering is all about.
Your drone shots are epic, so I'm excited about the new channel! Even your drone shots in this vlog of the early morning - so atmospheric and beautiful with the great music you chose to accompany it. BTW, the reason you didn't find treasure yesterday was that you weren't wearing your headband. You were forgetting that it gives you superpowers. 😱🤣
Super Apir! POWER ON! 👍💪
Aloha at Mabuhay! 🤙
🤩🤩🤩Jandee expert kaayo sa cooking.lucky you kulas surrounded by awesome brothers.jokes and laughter everyday 😎😎😎😁😁😁🇯🇵🇵🇭
All is looking great...keep having fun in your lives guys...
It's same here in Malaysia, we have to submit building plans for approvals permit to built. Copies are printed for own reference and to contractors for building the house.
Yup. True blue Malaysian.
Really like the new drone videos... they show much more than what we can see when you're on the ground... they really sjow off the beauty of your surroundings...
That is one majestic sunrise. Philippines sunrise and sunset is so underrated. It’ll make you emotional and recollect just about everything in life.
Put varnish on the woods of your house so they would last long.
Karen , yes its a good thing, but before applying Varnish make sure to apply first some Chemicals to protect from Termites (Anay and Bukbok).
I like that house along that beach simple but beautiful because of natural materials used..
Same in the US you have to submit the blue print of your house to be able to get a permit .
I can totally relate with what Jandee is saying about hagard. Kids in the 90s especially around Mindanao would always refer to big bikes like Harleys when the say hagard. Hehe Good times. 😁
Good job on the pescatarian. I've been pescatarian for 16 years now once august hits. Life revolves around the oceans, and remains the best source of food.
Also, I'm an engineer in the US. We don't use the blue "blue prints", but full sized printed plans like that are still used daily in our industry.
It's always something right in the Philippines you're showing my world.
In North America, “blueprints” are printed off printer/plotters and they come off black and white or colors, not like those ones made out of ammonia printers. Submissions and distributions are digitized copies, not with those bulky paper copies, and you can customize the size of your print as you wish.
Digitised copies kill the printing industry. There should be paper copies as well since paper is more accessible.
Not all prints are black n white some are blue all depends on the printing equipment
@@MrVens11 The good thing about digital copies is that you can access the drawings from anywhere in the world without tagging along a 30-page blueprints, as an example. Also, anybody from the team can make updates as they go, in which case, you always have an updated drawing on your server for everyone to refer to. But for me, the best feature, is to be able to pull out a drawing that fits into your pocket.
@@Aqualastic I understand. But not everyone has a huge iPad on site to access the drawings. Paper copies still need to be printed on certain situations.
As-built-plans are a pain in the ..., they're never up-to-date, until digitization came along.
Blue prints are always required when you get a house built. everything you build from the ground up. You need them to apply for permits.
It is nice to see the landscape from a bird eye views. I like how you incorporate/includes songs/music on some of your older drone footage scene. It gives you that happy feeling vibes like you're right there with you at all time, soaring in the air. Hope to see that in your new channel. Thanks for the info, I'll check out your droney channel and subscribe to it.
HIS FOOD ALWAYS LOOK HAPPY, MEANING COLORFUL AND APPETIZING
The building plan drawings look a lot like the ones we use in the Netherlands, when applying for a building permit. I think architect drawings are like a universal language.
Jundee:Bahala ka! watching Jundee and Kumar makes me miss my friends, the banters!!!!
Wow 🤩 Chef Jandee ,cooking yummy dinner👍👍👍 never forget that American carrots eh😊 Beautiful sunrise 🌅 Have a great day Guy’s ☺️
I miss my home place thank you for sharing this kind of beautiful treasure. 😭 Seaside Rizal Beach Gubat Sorsogon. ❤️🇯🇵🇵🇭
may i suggest, since you are using solar electricity...use electric stove and water kettle so you can save on using the LPG. just keep the LPG for emergency.
Commenting cause I'm happy i get a good vibes everyday. Power On 🔥🔥🔥

You have the most beautiful view Kulas! God bless you always. ❤🥰🤗
Just a suggestion Kulas ..while you still have plenty of bamboos..I think you have to make spare strong bamboo for December or new year...A bamboo canyon or "lantaka" that you call in your previous vlogs..Thanks..keep safe with all the boys...My mosquito net was from Sopee and it was not a " size. It was really a king size that arrived.scam "

Plant some eucalyptus lemongrass, oregano, rosemary and marigold to get rid of mosquitoes around your property.
That sunset is so beautiful and I envy you ... such a lovely place to wake up every morning. I have questioned myself lately, what I am doing? I watch your videos and you are an inspiration for a change ... I am thinking a lot lately about the beauty of simple living in the provinces in the Philippines. Although it is nice here in the land of Oz, I am longing for a small home and garden near the beach somewhere in the Philippines.
Good for you Kulas, you are so lucky to be with your friends .... you are becoming Filipino.
I recently subscribed to Becoming Filipino Drone and I love it. Thank you.
Love the new channel. I already watched the first one and of course subscribed right away. It's so beautiful to see Boracay and other places. Thank you for always showcasing the beauty of Philippines' nature.
Super apir and power on!
Your place is becoming a refuge for the sea creatures.. first the turtles.. now the shark.. that's the real treasure. Power On!
Kulas, you are truely living in paradise! The best decision you ever made in your life. If you are here in Canada, you will be teaching since you have a degree in teaching, but you will be asking..., " is that what you always wanted? Life goes on Kyle, as long as you are happy! Waiting for your beautiful drone shots!
Oh! by the way, British Columbia is slowly easing out from this virus sh.., & some part of Canada! Take care Kyle, & all you guys there.
I love it when you 're having a meal together.....stoŕies is non stop full of jokes and laughter...that's fun
Yes kulas, i manage a facility in Vancouver and we have building plan in blue print. It’s really important and useful to have when I have new maintenance people coming to do some work.
I’ve already subscribed to your new channel Kyle
Yes Kulas, You need a complete set of construction plans that includes not only floor plans, but cross-section drawings, electrical and plumbing plans, elevation drawings or renderings, and many other types of diagrams, as well. At least here in the states and I’m pretty sure in Canada as well
I used to print those architectural/mechanical drawings in my previous job (in NJ). Yup they are used, although we don't use blueprint anymore. One architect did tell me that they are converting to digital drawings for town/city permits but in the building phase, paper drawings are still more efficient.
The rooster crowing in the morning is one that I missed in Philippines, I can't wait to come back for vacation ⛱️ Mabuhay 🇵🇭. Salamat 🙏 Kulas for all the beautiful videos and informative content. All the best!
I enjoyed watching your vlog kulas . Not in a day that I miss your vlog whenever you upload a new one . Keep doing what you doing and rock on kulas !!! 🤙 watching from San Diego Cali
Actually, I’ve seen blueprints dated as far back as the 1800’s here in Canada, and building permit requirements is almost the same as in the Philippines.
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE
KEEP IT UP
POWER ON
STAY SAFE STAY STRONG FOR ALL OF US.
That motorbike 'haggard' thing is actually 'hagad.' Maybe it's just in Mindanao. But here in Luzon it is called 'hagad,' it's Tagalog for 'chase' or 'to chase' referring to the big displacement motorbike used by police units as having the capability and authority to chase cars or any vehicle at speed or as escort or security detail for [supposedly] high ranking government officials and dignitaries.
Never thought it that way but it makes a lot of sense now.
That sunrise is just AWESOME
Kulas , you have 2 channnels now.
#BecomingFilipino
#BecomingFiilipino Drione
Keep going! 👍👍
Power on! 💡💡💡
“Hagad” is slang for Highway Patrol bikes in the 70’s and 80’s. We had CHPG(Constabulary Highway Patrol Group) then and PC(Philippine Constabulary) and Metrocom (Metropolitan Command) then. It could have been pronounced as “haggard” sometimes. Thumbs up senior citizens.
Hagad translated in English is 'to chase'.
@@yteduser “Hagad” is used as a noun not as a verb. These are two ways the word is used.
“May hagad diyan. “ is meant as a quick warning to people that there’s a motorcycle cop around the corner ready to give you a ticket for traffic violation.
“Naka-hagad siya“ means someone is riding on a big bike specifically the ones used by motorcycle cops complete with police markings.
@@jjfonacier, You're right , the way they were talking about it in the video, they were clearly describing a motorcycle being referred to as hagad. The motorcycle cops were also called hagad because of what they usually did while on duty. They chased criminals and law-breakers. So the action of chasing (verb) became a noun when referring to the motorcycle cops (chasers) and also their motorcycles. So, the origin of the word hagad is from the verb, to chase. To use it in a sentence::: "If the criminal is fleeing, the hagads (cops) can hagad (chase) him down on their hagads.(motorcycles)" LOL.
A lot of English and Spanish words are lost in translation in the Filipino culture, that's for sure. That explains the craziness when English and Spanish-speaking visitors talks to locals, there will always be misunderstanding along the way.
Really nice!! I’m excited to see all your drone shots 😍
Becoming Filipino Drone...subscribed👍🤜🤛
Yes, blue print is required in the Phils and anything u do in yoir haus even just building a fence you need to get building permit😃
It's fencing permit not building permit
@@aromix27tv55 yah, I meant to say “permit” 😃
Plant some herbs like citronella, lemon grass, basil to ward away the mosquitoes
@@Kooky7 ..some filipinos are highly corrected indeed
yeah because the gov is greedy AF they all need is money money money everything you do in the here is money
I'm Covid positive and in quarantine facility. Your vlogs are my stress reliever.
Yes, that's what we called in Canada the blue print. We have the blue print of the house. The builder gave it to us when we moved in.
The foreman gave a copy of the blue print to the people who works in the house so that they know where to put the basement washroom, furnace and so on. 😁
"taka taka" lang ! Ask the boys the meaning of taka-taka! This makes my day!
Owning a construction/demolition business here in the US for 30+ years. Yes, you need a blue print for building/construction. The difference is, if there's any changes to the plan, an engineer has to draw it up for you, THEN a city inspector has to personally come to your location, inspect it, and sign off on the "new design". Unlike your project, you cant just randomly make changes as you wish if there's a city building code for it. I'm sure the BIG commercial building in PH is the same way as the US code, since it involves public safety and insurance/ bank loans, it has to be done right.
That kitchen is to die for!!!! Love it!!!!
Cad system are use for architecture and engineering, it's environmental friendly, no sweat it you want to correct and edit your design
Watching from Ontario, Canada. Yes you need the blue print/designs to apply for building permit to ensure you meet the building codes.
Hagard is highway guard sort of an adapting word as the they hear it, same as atop which is roof in bisaya, americans/english speaking foreigners might have said it as atop a house describing the roof but heard by the bisaya and adopted it as atop as their own😀
Yes, In canada you have submit plans and blueprints but, In Coombs (Goats on the roof) you can build without permits or plans. I built a Harley Davidson shop there, of course I built to code for safety reasons. Yes that's a Nurse Shark, I've swam with them many times in Mexico. I even dove down 15 ft. and grabbed a 6ft. one and held it under the belly and swam up so I had photos of me holding one on the surface. Amping guys . P.S That's not a chicken, that's a ROOSTER ( Gallo) LOL P.S.S have you been promoted yet from Tita to Tito....I'll have to ask Kumar and Jundee
How i wish to wake up in the morning hearing the sound of ocean waves n rooster crowing, unlike here in vancouver early in the morning your hear siren of police n ambulance, what a bomber.
Well if you are building on your own, you will get your own architect and contract a builder but now, you go to a Building Developer and you ichoose the kind of style and pick the flooring, cabinets, color of the house, fixtures, etc. Blueprints is by request if you want to see it. I built a house in 1995 and it was very easy, in Florida USA
Hello Kulas I’m glad you’re okay now enjoy with your wonderful friend take care and god bless 💖💖💖
Actually, the word Hagard is a Bisaya evolution of the tagalog street vernacular Hagad that means a motorcycle cop who drove large motorcycles. I do not know how the word Hagad developed but I remember when I was learning to drive in Manila, whenever someone screams "Hagad" it meant watch out for Smokey the Bear.
gyjainga, Very well said based on your experience, but some Bisaya can't accept that simple fact and insisted their own understanding/perception of that word.
@@chattcedric6321 Okay, let's hear their explanation. The word Hagad was in use in the 1960's when I was conscious of the word living in Manila. When I and the boys I hung out with heard Hagard for the first time, it was in the 1970's. We found it appropo because we thought that "-gard" was the corrupted use of the word "guard " which is in close affinity to police. The strength of my argument is the fact that that my "uncles" were bisaya and I never heard them use the word "hagard". In fact, they were sheepish about it when they had to admit that the word "hagard" was bisaya in origin.
@@gyjainga Hagard was not only used in Bisaya, 'coz when I went to Bicol I also heard that word and I corrected them. Besides, the Police Officers on Big Bikes were never called "Guard" in Manila and Suburbs. If you remember the Actor Chiquito, he was a Makati City Hagad before he became an actor.
@@chattcedric6321 You'll have to give a better account about it's orgins. I gave you years and an account with my bisaya uncles who were related to my bisaya mother. Oh, yes, Chiquito. Interesting you mentioned him. He would park his black BMW motorcycle beside our apartment in Mendoza street in Santa Ana visiting his mistress. Being kids we would stand by his beautiful bike and dream of having one ourselves. We would overhear motorcycle talk every time and the word "hagard " was never used.
@@gyjainga Hahahha, so we are of the same age eh, and if we are neighbors most probably we're Barkada. I was raised in Proj.4 QC and my Tambayan was Cubao long, long before Araneta Coliseum was built. And the HAGADs were all over Highway 54, now EDSA. I already explained the meaning of HAGAD in my previous comments that it literally means Chase or Pursue.
u are truly amazing kulas! u have a heart of gold, bless u!=)
Nice new project brother, maybe also add some of your content to Pexels, I think that local content creators would probably love it and really appreciate it, not that you aren't already doing amazing things in the Philippines =), but just another way to help local creators who are inspired by you =) Keep up the good work!
A blueprint is a reproduction of the technical drawing or engineering drawing using contact printing on a light sensitive paper. The blueprint maybe that of a residential house, commercial building, manholes and conduits, roads including underpasses, etc.
Even here in the US you have to have blueprints or design plans of what you’re planning to build to be submitted, checked and approved before you can start building then inspectors will come and check the ongoing project making sure that you are following the design plans that you submitted.
Yan ang pinaka masarap na buhay...I like that living in the province near the beach...eating fresh fish and organic veggies...❤
