May I ask, how do you *KNOW* hell is real? If you answer _”because it says so in the Bible…”_ that’s fine, but I’m hoping for an answer that leads to tangible evidence that proves it’s a real place. For example, to a lot of people, the Kingdom of God, angels, the Holy Spirit, and Satan, are not demonstrably real in the same way that the City of New York is a real place and Giraffes are real animals. If you could convince others in a tangible way why you believe these things are real, you would have a lot more success at convincing people to become Christian.

Bishop Carleton Pearson was appropriately handled by the Church according to the Scriptures for his false teachings. I'd been one of his followers since Azuza until he converted to The Gospel of Inclusion. I had to repent today because I let my grief over his illness and death cause me to not dig more deeply into his false teachings. I had read his books and listened to him being interviewed about his beliefs. It wasn't until a few days ago I went to CZcams and listened to his sermons and lectures about Inclusion. I couldn't believe the horrible things he said about our Bible, Beliefs and Christ. I was shocked and appalled. I went to my Facebook activity log and deleted everything I had to say in his defense. We better stand firm on the truth and defend it without apology no matter how much we love who a person once was especially if they are misleading others.
I never heard of Carlton Pearson until July of 2023 and when I heard him preach it was hard for me to believe he was Christian and believed in the same gospel I do. Carlton's views on the Bible sounded similar to one of my atheist co-workers views on the Bible.

But over and over again I can see videos of Pearson himself being underhanded and nasty because people disagreed with him. But I will take zero criticism from the likes of William Murphy or Jamal Bryant who are mean, nasty and brutal to blacks who disagree with their political leanings. Jamal Bryant labeled Herschel Walker a broken black man and preached a whole sermon against him for no other reason than he opposed him politically.

Carlton Pearson came to our church and preached back in the early 1990s. He had just been married. I don't know if it was his first wife or not. She was with him as well. What was interesting was that Carlton really never mentioned God or Jesus or anything concerning the scriptures. I remember this as being a bit odd at the time. Over time I began to hear his views from others and understood. Why does it seem that people who get the biggest platforms for speaking and preaching are often the biggest heretics and hypocrites???

Evidence really doesn’t matter to a hardened heart. I used to think that you could convince people with evidence, but I underestimated the power of the devil to deceive. When someone is living under the devil’s deception, there is no amount of evidence that you could present to them that would change their mind.
You do know that the Bible isn’t where we got our beliefs from, right? Jesus predates the Bible. David predates the Bible. All of the prophets predate the Bible. The gospels are witness testimonies of Christ. The majority of mainstream historians and scholars do not dispute Jesus’s existence. Nor do they dispute the existence of his disciples. He and his disciples are actual historical figures, whether or not you want to admit their existence of not.
Jesus describe hell on several occasions. And the Apostle John mentioned it in Revelation as the final designation of those who have rejected God. You seem to be under the belief that the Bible is some fairytale book with make believe characters. If that’s your thought process, then there is no point in debating with you.

Jesus does not send people to hell. It is unrepentant sin in a person's life that sends people to hell. Disciples of Christ are called to warn people that hell is REAL and so is HEAVEN. Bishop Carleton Pearson was appropriately handled by the Church according to the Scriptures for his false teachings. I'd been one of his followers since Azuza until he converted to The Gospel of Inclusion.
I had to repent today because I let my grief over his illness and death cause me to not dig more deeply into his false teachings. I had read his books and listened to him being interviewed about his beliefs. It wasn't until a few days ago I went to CZcams and listened to his sermons and lectures about Inclusion.
I couldn't believe the horrible things he said about our Bible, Beliefs and Christ. I was shocked and appalled. I went to my Facebook activity log and deleted everything I had to say in his defense. We better stand firm on the truth and defend it without apology no matter how much we love who a person once was especially if they are misleading others.

I never heard of Carlton Pearson until July of 2023 and when I heard him preach it was hard for me to believe he was Christian and believed in the same gospel I do. Carlton's views on the Bible sounded similar to one of my atheist co-workers views on the Bible.
Carlton Pierce was huge in the 1990s early 2000s was on Trinity Broadcasting Network alot had 60,000 member church ⛪️ but he lost everything in 2005 after a sermon where he came out against the idea of hell. His congregation fled by the tens of thousands

WOW.... didn't realize Pearson had gotten that far off. I attended a couple of Azusa conferences in the late 90's. The last one I attended, I honestly questioned if he was real. I was discerning something off about him a few years before he embraced this new doctrine. In hindsight, it's possible he was already drifting that direction.

You deleting William Murphy's music shows you are following him, not Christ in the first place. Has anything he said now changed the content of his previous songs? What if he was truly a believer when he made those songs and just backslid. I thought you guys' stand is that people cannot lose their salvation.

We don’t follow, Corey, Jesus said his sheep hear his voice and don’t follow strangers when Corey says what Jesus said, we agree when the stranger says there’s no hell, and another stranger defends him we don’t believe it we don’t know his voice, if you follow strangers well, I’ll leave it at that.

God is exposing…
Carlton Pearson came to our church and preached back in the early 1990s. He had just been married. I don't know if it was his first wife or not. She was with him as well. What was interesting was that Carlton really never mentioned God or Jesus or anything concerning the scriptures. I remember this as being a bit odd at the time. Over time I began to hear his views from others and understood. Why does it seem that people who get the biggest platforms for speaking and preaching are often the biggest heretics and hypocrites???
James 3:6 "And the tongue is a fire. The tongue is an unrighteous world among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the cycle of nature, and set on fire by hell."
All I can say is Carlton Pearson CHOSE to depart from the truth......PERIOD.
The Church tried to restore this man. Many people cried, prayed, and tried to get Pearson to remember the Faith he was once taught. The people who are supporting Pearson, don't surprise me, from Bishop Jakes to Bishop Noel Jones. Even the so-called gospel singers. Sad, sad and so sad. People, don't let these "Big time preachers, deceive you."
