Oh wow! Thanks for this. I’ve been waiting for this. I know you’re super busy so I appreciate the time you gave for reviewing my candles. Yah it’s been a while and I change some things with the materials I’m using. I also use uv inhibitor to lessen the discoloration. I have over 50 stockist now all over US and have one in UK. And just last month i got a contract from a company that handles gift shops in airports. I’m excited and scared as I’m now sure how big will be their order. They handle more than 100 airports in North America. Again thank you for all the knowledge you share here in your channel. That help me a lot and now I can say that this is not just a side hustle for me but a legit business. 🥰
That's great! Congrats on the growth!
Wow! Congratulations. They look really beautiful
That was awesome!!
I think i would be nervous if Wade reviewed my candles but I'm still relatively new to all of this, i really enjoyed this, the candles were super cute & i also learnt something 💜💜
🤣
Love the T shirt ! 😂
Thanks!
Ooh nice!! The lavender roses towards the end of the video, was so cute 💜
Yep!
Omg these candles are gorgeous and adorable and they are making me want to use embeds😄❤
❤️
I didn't even know i needed this in my life! I love candles! New subscriber
🤣 lol. Nice!
Love the embeds, great aesthetic!
Agreed
I've never seen candles like the first set, with the embeds. They're really cool!!
Yep!
Beautiful candles!
👍❤️
These are so enjoyable to watch. Those wee square containers are super cute even without the imbeds!
😁
Thanks for the candles and the review!
❤️ thanks Lisa!
These are beautiful candles. Also I love these videos.
Thanks!
I love your review videos soooooo much :) so thorough and helpful. Oh, and entertaining too!
Thank you@
I’m into the dry herbs on the top. I don’t care for the way it looks. All the candles are beautiful
👍
Another great review!:)
Thanks Don!
Thank you you answered a question I had about the herbs and so forth on top of the candles. They are super pretty but I was very concerned about the possibilities of adverse effects sort to speak.
👍
I wouldn't be able to burn them, they're too pretty, they wouldn't be good for me because I'm forever burning candles, i mean 24 hours a day.
Definitely be a good present for fam & friends though🥰
Haha. For sure
So I don't know if this was intended, but the "loose" lids maybe are meant to be used as coasters? Maybe?
Brilliant Idea 💡
I figured either that or for the candles to be placed on while burning
Exactly the idea. It’s a lid/coaster. To protect furnitures too ♥️
I love these videos!! How do we submit to you for review?
Email me at youtube@blacktiebarn.com but at the moment I'm still quite backed up. In working on that though
Are the embeds pillar soy wax ? Ive tried using container wax but it does set well. Was wondering if it is okay to use pillar wax embeds on top of container wax.
Oh no I need advice. So I just noticed a candle I made in like a baileys coffee and licquor mug/glass with the handle… was perfectly smooth smelled wonderful.. but 5 days Cured it now has these perfectly round bubbles the size of maybe a bit smaller than a dime but bigger than a pea. Do you know why that may be cause up until today it was perfectly smooth. Do I need to leave the foil around them for a few days????
PS I used CC coconut wax
When you're talking about how you're surprised that the embeds held up what do you mean with that? are you talking about them melting or some other issue?
I'd have to rewatch for context. But probably thst they shipped well.
@@BlackTieBarn oh ok. What are the issues with them? Do they fall off during shipping? Or start moving? I’m just getting into candles and I am planning on having embeds on at least 1/3 of my candles I’m making.
I purchase coconut from them and there is No frosting and very smooth texture. I really like it. I have to burn one though. I’d just been practicing mixing dye and FO thusfar to get ready to give as gifts and get a response. Always think of myself last. I need to make myself one today should always do that first I’m sure.
Yes absolutely test for yourself
Wade! if I want to send you candles, where can I send it? 😍 Im from Sweden but it would be soo cool if I can send you some
I'm super backed up at the moment but trying to catch up. Email me at youtube@blacktiebarn.com :)
Hi Wade, I know you are behind on your reviews but I would love to get an honest review of my candles. I have been making candles for myself for several years but have finally decided to try to make a go at turning my personal hobby into a business. My plan is to launch the third week of September. I am still struggling with a few things at this point.... from what I understand this is common for new candle makers. I have been testing for about 7 months or so and have settled on my wax, wicks, jars, and formulas. Of course I am still open to suggestions for improvement. Labeling is still an issue for me. At any rate I would love to have you review my progress to this point if at all possible.
Hey Kimberly. Email me at youtube@blacktiebarn.com :)
How the heck did she get the wick threww the embeds 🤔
You poke a toothpick or skewer in the middle of the embed, then slide it down over the wick.
Just poke a hole. :)
@@BlackTieBarn makes sence. I would be scared to break them lol gotta try this for sure. Thx! Those r amazing
I add a nail the size of a wick in the mold for my inbeds and they come out awesome, no breaking
