That is great that you went to the doc to have it checked out. Hopefully that will get to the root cause and you can find a way to move forward. I could hear the melody ringing through on the Will the Circle be Unbroken, yay! It is just like riding a bike, your muscles remember things pretty well.

Dude, I accidentally stuck my middle finger in a Jointer three weeks ago. It's healing up nicely. However I'm learning to play banjo chords without the middle finger. Good luck with bursitis!
