I used these for a week and returned them. The Apple Store employee asked why I returned it, I was brutally honest. They get dirty FAST, they show the wear of an Apple wallet that is 12 months in under a week. The employee then said yeah we have had a tonne of returns won’t be surprised if these are totally discontinued. I for one purchased a Baltic blue leather wallet and got a gorgeous blue leather case from Mujjo which makes my new Titanium Blue iPhone pop!

I have the leather ones, they start ripping up after a year or so. They are not bad but I am hoping the new ones hold on better.

So pleased I went for a silicone case for my iPhone 15 pro. Would have liked a leather case for my first pro model but didn’t want to risk this new material. Looks poor
I haven’t carried a physical card for about 5 years. I guess some people still use cards, or maybe it’s certain countries 🤷🏻♂️
Honestly its not a wallet for the everyday use. I have the fine woven black case and cream wallet and I only use them when I go to a restaurant or places that I know it will not get dirty. I like how elegant they look and love them.
Apple's cheap leather wallets and cases have the paint wear off....that ain't patina. Patina occurs when the oils/colors of the hide move to surface or away from surface (from pressure and/or creasing) and/or mix with your skin oils. Either way, though, I really miss the Apple leather wallets and plan to take good care of the one I have because it's function is so good.

im really dissapointed, i use leather for the past 2 years and it is the best material ever, doesnt smell, gets cleaned easy, and even damages shows as scars, i tosed it in all conditions as i worked and not even once it fell off my iphone, i droped it by my own twice or 3 times but not by itself, as for paying with it is super easy, everyone that sees my setup is amazed it takes me less than 6 secs to take out my card to pay if my apple pay is refused, plus i can place my id between magnets and it holds well, right now i own 2 full leather sets, sequoia green and dark cherry, iphone case wallet and leather link for each of them, next im considering next year what hermes band to get, im thinking between clasic brown with buckle or black and brown without buckle, since apple is moving away i'd rather get my hermes bands soon even though hermes still makes leather i cant tell for how long.

Totally disagree with pretty much everything said in this video. Also, the leather wallet you show looks absolutely horrendous! That’s not a patina. That’s the wear of very cheap leather.
Hermès, and other fine leathers, patina. Apple never used premium or fine leather in their cases/wallets.
It’s a shame apple still offered animal skin until this year. It’s also a shame people still think it’s acceptable to use animals. Plus the misconception of leather being a byproduct. Even if it was this way, animal agriculture is everything decent people want to avoid. Usually. Since it’s great in animal abuse, environmental destruction, pollution in general, health risks for everyone involved and more.
