As Orlando City fan I wish you the best San Diego I have really good friends over there and yes Football in San Diego is like drinking water .
idk how you managed to come out the woodwork after that 5-0 beating lol
@@chrismacal3342 That supposed to be an offense or a joke ?
It will be the biggest soccer specific venue in America… if it was a soccer specific venue.
I'm happy for the San Diego fans! That logo though.....Aldi should sue. It also doesn't say anything San Diego to me.
I thought that, then it started to look like a shiny chrome star ✡️ which can be found in a cube 🕋
There's 18 communities that make up San Diego, which is why there are 18 lines coming together interweaved in a ball. There actually was some thought put into the logo. I thought it looked generic too at first, but it's growing on me.
Wonderful city and wish them the best except when they're playing my team, but that crest is not representative of what anybody thinks of when they think San Diego. The re-brand can't come soon enough and I kind of hope they can get something better out before they kick off next season.
As a lifelong chargers fan and padres fan I am so excited to see another major team in San Diego, I was gutted when the chargers left but so happy to hear this hopefully one day we’ll bring our bolts back home
I love the temperate temperature of San Diego; I enjoy the area.
Why the hell does that logo look like the badge worn by a grocery store security guard or a round sewer grate?
Id say San Diego deserves better. The SDFC naming is also disappointing. Some MLS corporate bullshit. Hopefully the fans can aspire to an unofficial name. Many of us do that with the Loons so it's not always just city/state + FC naming convention.
build a roof and rebrand this logo already.
So stoked! LFGSD!
Change the logo please
Why?
The logo is fine
@@H-Vox if it's fine w yall who am i to complain i guess
@@sammypierrecollections no you were right the first time. It's garbage
@@thomaskendell8146It looks like the logo of a company that makes home appliances and not of a soccer team!
Exciting but I think the badge is absolutely awful. Hopefully they change it
As a St. Louis City fan, welcome to the Microsoft clip art community..
SD is a huge Market but have y'all tried signing free agent Former Manchester united player David De Gea and he is a leader of men
we need an maine mls team
Excited to have a San Diego team in the league but disappointed they went with the generic *city name* FC name, and that crest is terrible. It’s especially disappointing considering how well the names and crests were/are for the loyal and wave.
They need a nickname
Clowns fc
Throwing money at San Diego residents with shitty fan tours, a terrible outsourced logo and cheap merch isn’t going to build a fan base. This is the most corporate MLS franchise launch I’ve seen. At least St. Louis City and Austin FC listened to critics and was founded by locals and now have loyal fan bases. SDFC doesn’t have the same magic. It’s not a truly local team. 35k people are not going to show up at Snapdragon every home game at this rate. As a resident I hope SDFC succeeds but they don’t listen to their fans.
They will easily average 25k +, they r already the second biggest team in town,
As a San Diego fc fan, I love the hate and I love this club. The logo is fine, the name is fine. It’s a football club hence the FC so it’s a perfect name. We don’t need no crazy wild names.
Go SDFC! LFGSD!
Sad for the Loyal!
They could have honored the Loyal by at least having a good logo. The Loyal logo looks better than this.
@@MichaelWalker-wu2pqthe loyal is a dumb name for a team,
0:33 "This place is distinct from LA..." Yeah, teams in LA win championships.
And live in a trash infested cess pool.
Yeah and also reside in a shithole.
Obviously happy SDFC is here, BUT...a bit of a bait and switch re stadium. Snapdragon is a glorified high school stadium, nada mas, nada menos. Announce its a temporary home OR announce you'll be modifying it by putting some roofs on for both weather (heat stroke, yes, even at night) AND ambiance!
San Diego FC belongs to Sacramento!
Sacramento FC is next 🙏🏻
It sure does! Phoenix and San Antonio deserve honorable mentions!
@@bluebird1954sac republic
@@AndrewAguirre1.....So Las Vegas!
@@bluebird1954do they have a mls ready stadium?
Dechi
No soul behind that logo, Xolos is more original copy something off them
Dude talks about how special SD is.. then calls the team FC...How generic...
On top of doing the loyal so dirty..
I like the name lowk sounds professional SDFC. The logo is where they rlly did us dirty
Should have been Atletico San Diego or FC San Diego(I think it flows better)
Less MLS teams and more investments in Youth academy for current clubs. We need a free youth system like Europe.
Not paid....
Brudda it’s free
There aren’t enough kids that want to play soccer after age 10
@@tyronelorenzovalentio3414it isn't in the States
@@morosz1159 lmao you're fking high
@@morosz1159 That isn't true what so ever.
American sports are so terribly corporate it hurts
Sacramento woulda been much better,
Yup. Even Las Vegas.
Who the hell would rather play in Sacramento than San diego?
@@brando7266 Players will go wherever they get paid. Sacramento have proven that they have a soccer environment. San Diego? Not so much.
@@mikehunt5637 lmao wtf are you talking about it's literally one of if not the biggest soccer cities in America...
@@mikehunt5637 but does sacramento have a major league stadium to play in( 25k capacity)?
A palm tree or a whale would have made for a better logo. Cheesy? Maybe, but better than this.
Detroit, San Antonio, Phoenix wouldve been better choices.
No way.
San Diego was a no-brainer for expansion. It and St. Louis got screwed by the NFL and had a vacuum that an MLS team could fill.
I think SD was a good choice, but I predict MLS will eventually top out with six more teams -- San Antonio (64% Latino, so high odds of success), Vegas, Phoenix, Detroit, Indianapolis, and a return to Tampa.
New Orleans would be cool since it's the first place where association football was played in the US (1850s) but I don't see it happening. Sacramento used to look surefire but it never seems to gain steam. As a Hoosier, Indy might be my own wishful thinking, but they are building a stadium for their USL team so there's a chance.
Nah
@@H-Voxnah they would go to lower league
Happy for all san diego community
Let's go San Diego! ⛪
