The Colin Quinn one is a classic, this was the first episode after norm was fired calling out his name was undoubtedly unscripted and hilarious
Will Ferrell got the inspiration for playing Harry Carrey when he was watching a Cubs game and Carrey yelled "if he's a pitcher, then I'm a Chinaman!"
Haha, Chinaman is one of Norm MacDonald's favorite racial slurs.....literally "Man from China".....that's racist!
I remember so clearly when Will Ferrell portayed Harry Carey. I forgot it was Will, it was amazing.
It's too bad he didn't make it a permanent inside joke and just kept calling every host Norm.

I met Jeff Goldblum a few years ago and when we were getting our picture taken in a Harry Caray voice I said, "Say cheese.....is not what the moon is made of!" and Jeff just looked down at me and said, "Ahh, that's right!"

Harry leading _Take Me Out to the Ball Game_ during the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley... nice memories in a year likely w/o baseball. I think Harry got a kick out of Will’s spaced-out impression of him. Good job & RIP Harry.

One of Will Ferrell's funniest yet underrated characters. Just looking at him makes me laugh.
Imagine dying, going to heaven, and having your entire life reviewed and narrated by Harry Caray.
Not only does Will bring the familiar appearance of Harry to life, he has written some brilliant dialogue. With the killer delivery of Caray exaggerated to perfection, the diatribes are wickedly funny. One of comedy's all-time great impersonations.

Not that anyone cares, but when I was 12, I met Harry at a restaurant in Sarasota, FL. He was really great, extremely friendly. Of course (it almost goes without saying), he was seated at the bar 😊 Go Cubs, and Old Style beer! "A one, two, three..Take me out to the ball game..." We Chicagoans miss you. Oh, and great job, Will!

I loved it when my boy, Mark "Mudcat" Grant, longtime color commentator for my Pads, and Joliet Illinois native, sang Take Me Out To The Ballgame as Harry Caray when the Padres were playing the Cubs. It was awesome...love that guy!
