That man never dropped a album but had his hands in hip hop since we had the jus the hip right before the hop.. that's how long he been apart of it.. he not only knows mainstream artists but he knows the underground artist and all their body of work.. not gonna lie, usually not comfortable with others telling our history but this dude I trust with hip Hop history.. he's somebody I could trust to do a documentary on the full history of hip hop And he wouldn't skip a beat rs
I think Eiht is confusing Cube's "The Predator" album, which has the track "Wicked" on it with "Lethal Injection". And then he mention the top hat that Cube wore on the "WAR & PEACE VOL.1" album cover, which is totally different album altogether.
I like Soren here on the platform. I love his platform and the balance y'all have here.
I respect Soren’s list because it was the most well rounded!

Also Black Mafia Life-ATL. DRE used this album as the prototype for the Chronic.

It’s hard AF. Even when you think you got it, other joints pop in your head. C-Bo, “The Gas Chamber” is a classic, but Scarface, Cube and Dre/Snoop took up about 10 slots between them. You can’t win with this lol. Even Jayo Felony had a dope a- album. DJ Quik is a genius

Lethal Injection was my first Cube let down, but years later it still bangs. All previous albums started with..."a payback" lethal injection didn't and I knew something was up. Still it's way better than most of today's rap.
I feel you on that, but I think that by the time LETHAL INJECTION dropped, CUBE was more focused on getting his movie career into full motion... but that's just my opinion...
Lethal Injection is my favorite Ice Cube album. Don't sleep on it now.

Respect to Lethal Injection! That was my first Cube album I really fell in love with off You Know How We Do it. My favorite from him is The Predator though I think that's also a very complete album song to song like DC, but just with a rawer edge to it. LI, like multiple Cube albums is under appreciated, I could definitely understand someone placing it so high. What Can I Do, Really Doe, Bop Gun, You Know How We Do It, When I Get To Heaven, Ghetto Bird. I love that album. I will concede that it sounds like Predator b-sides, particularly Enemy sounds totally like it could slip onto TP, but I still love it!
In no particular order my top 10 gangster rap albums are Music To Driveby (Compton's Most Wanted), Bangin' On Wax (Bloods & Crips), True Blue (N.O.T.S.),The Chronic (Dr. Dre), Doggystyle (Snoop Doggy Dogg), Rhyme Pays (Ice-T), Mista Don't Play (Project Pat), Quik Is The Name (DJ Quik), Death Certificate (Ice Cube) and last but not least Uncle Sam's Curse (Above The Law).
