Heard these gone up in price, glad to have found a barely used one for cheap at a thrift store. Quite greatful and I'm enjoying it on my Steam Deck for VLC, Browser and Plex usage.

First, K830 not on Logitech website, just checked. Why no one makes a wireless backlite keyboard with a touch pad in 2024 is amazing. If you build it they (us) will buy it. I for one will not settle for anything else. Id rather scratch roman numerals on a rock than buy something without those features.
This keyboard could be so good but the logitech options software absolutely ruins it. I give it a D-. Any "early" adopter knows that logitech's software for this keyboard didn't work in the first entire year of its existence.
Oh Stevey500, I have to say... I agree with you. I wish I had gave this more time. Because I noticed it was removed from the marketplace shortly as well in some places. It did feel like they gave up on what come have been a solid product. Logitech normally makes really phenomenal products. I'm not sure what happened here.
@@TechCrackedWeekly its a 7-8 year old product that has been discontinued. However, it is a rare treat to find. I am hopefully about to buy it second hand but like new, tomorrow, for 12 dollars! To be used with the nvidia shield in the living room (its the back lighting I want, together with the possibility to use a trackpad etc at times). +and a better keyboard to type on, compared to the poor (non-backlit but popular grey yellow logitech) one I currently have.
Finally found somebody explaining how to hook up Bluetooth not use the dongle.

Is there anyway to have it keep the backlight of the keys on longer? Mine always seems to go out way to quick after a key press.

Hey Leon ... Is the clicking of the keys loud or fairly silent ?
I would say they are fairly quiet. A little bit of sound. 🙂
My issue is that I doubt it's AES encrypted on USB....so I worry it can be evesdropped...
how does one choose to keep light on longer/always?
I haven't found a solution. It seems like the backlight turns off when typing stops to extended use time pretty charge.
I have 3 at home it is the best keyboard. But I don't know why Logitech discontinued and I google it is selling $539 waltmark Canada
