Game of the proverbial two halves as Millwall were the better side first half, but the Sky Blues finally settled down and edged the win. Pleased for Wright and took his goals well even though I was nervous at him taking the penalty, but he stuck it away. Onwards and upwards PUSB
It was a game of two halves, but we guess that is more due to Millwall running out of steam rather than City upping their game. Their high pressing made our usual play very difficult, so long balls were kinda needed to not lose possession in dangerous areas. It was the same at Millwall, the first 20-30 mins we hardly got going and they were chasing everything. Naturally they ran out of steam, impossible to keep up for the full 90 we guess, and that gave us the space to play our style and turn the game around. Didn't understand why Robins brought off Eccles, who we thought was having another good game, but the winning coach is always right! :D :D Another good win, PUSB!!
Yeah he has fit straight in no bother, what a legend in the making, once he feels the spirit he will be scoring all the time, winners should be prem bound.
2-1 was a fair result. Coventry took a while to get underway and Millwall were the better team for half an hour. Then Coventry came alive and were on top for an hour, the last 15 mins of the first half and all of the second half. We cannot afford to slack off if we want to be in the playoffs again, the margin between teams is even tighter than last season. Keep the faith, PUSB.
