  • John Twist doesn't like having car parts that rattle or shift. If your rear view mirror is loose or noisy, good news - it can be fixed! John demonstrates how to remove the mirror, stop the rattle, and tighten the connections so the mirror works properly.

Those loose mirrors always bothered me, after seeing it, I went out and repaired both mirrors in about 15 minutes. Thanks John, you are the man!

Well that fixed my floppy mirror problem. I'd assumed the torx head mine has was a sign that they shouldn't be adjusted! Literally 2 mins after the video and job done!

Great info as usual only shortcomings of the Tex mirrors is that they don't have a great range of adjustment.

Making sure they don't fall off easily is good advise - I had one fall off in the garage and didn't notice until I rolled over it :(

Great video John. Any tips to prevent rattling of MGA dash-mounted rear view mirror? Thanks

How timely was this video? I have a pair that I plan to install on my 66. 😉
