Talk about bad timing on that cover seeing that Savage was about to debut in WCW

12:52 I thick originally he was “Sparky” Thurman Plug or STP as a pun on that car oil brand, then quietly changed it to Bob “Spark Plug” Holly, hoping nobody would notice.

The Barbarian made his WWF return as Seone. Newest Headshrinker member. It was him & Fatu teaming now.

The Magazine was always 2-3 months behind anything that happened. It had a really long production cycle and the interview is part 2,

I think I heard on Jim Cornettes podcast that the Vic Venom character in the ‘Byte This’ column was actually Vince Russo

    • @CollectorsEntertainmentNetwork

      That would make sense

Yes Vic Venom is Vince Russo’s gimmick name. Strange he would write first article under his gimmick name and next under his real name.

He appeared on the Live Wire Show as Vic Venom a few times

@@travismiller4320 Because article under his real name were "journalistic works", while Vic Venome was a full blown heel persona. He also wrote the Janus article (supposedly a WWF insider who had a split persona, one being face, the other being heel, it was a very weird, but typical Russo thing)

Oh I didn’t know that. Or maybe did and forgot it.

The cartoon aired from 1983 to 1985 though and there were several sequels: Pitfall 2: The Lost Caverns in 1984, Super Pitfall in 1986 and the Mayan Adventure in 1994 was a attempt to reboot the franchise, it also got a sequel, Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle released in 1998.

Bulldog was fired from WCW in December 1993 due to the Calgary Nightclub incident that saw him go on trial (He was proven innocent)
