The Trauma of Hope Mikaelson | How Villains Are Made

  • The way Hope's trauma forrmed her personality once she turned her humanity off is something I've been interested in since Season 4 Episode 3 premiered.
It's almost like the conditioning of a sociopath. It's a proven fact that not all sociopaths are born, most are made from the conditions their raised in. So this is where the phrase "monsters aren't born, their made" comes from.
Hope's, anger, pain and hate for the world wasn't born into her, like people like to say through the show simply because she's Klaus Mikaelson's daughter, it came from the fact that people believed she would become that monster because she's Klaus' daughter.
I've always thought that Alaric caused a lot of her problems, whether it was directly or simply through indirect actions, such as bringing her to the Salvatore School. He's always said things like "This is your father" or "You are still your father's daughter" and at the end of the day, Hope might be powerful but she's still a teenage girl.
Many people around Hope saw her as a threat so she came to believe she was a threat, hence why she's so violence without her humanity.
So, that is how villains are made.

I think the worst thing about Hope is.... She is very literally responsible for the death of both her Mom & Dad and she is ageless and borderline immortal.

      Agreed.
She has to carry that pain forever.

Well it was fitting for klaus to make that decision considering he was gone from her life always but loved her deeply and his brother is the reason the hollow was in her resulting in the family splitting up. And Hayley’s death wouldn’t have happened if people told hope about all the mikaelsons enemies and why she should be careful and if her father actually had a relationship with her over the phone and not just completely vanish because of one incident when he couldn’t control his temper

In my opinion, the worst thing would be that hope is a completely evil person with or without the humanity switch being a factor

Sadly, I think it was always going to be Landon and he might even turn it back on. But at the end of the day, it made sense plot wise, they just didn't consider how little fans wanted Landon to have that kind of hold over her life

This is by far the best edit on Hope Andrea Mikaelson over the past season

This was Phenomenal Masterpiece for My Second Favorite Characters and Villains in The Vampire Diaries Universe. Hope is Basically is her Father. Klaus Wasn’t Born Evil and Neither was Hope. The Only Reason Why Klaus Became a Villain Is Because of his Horrible Parents. His Mother Basically Lied To Him about his True Heritage and his Father Treated him like Crap Physically and Mentally Abusing him his Entire Childhood. Hope Mikaelson is The The Person that Changed him into a Better Man and Wonderful Father and allowed him to finally heal from his Childhood Trauma. Hope Mikaelson is a Good Person who had Already Lost her Mother, Father and her Uncle. Alaric had no right to take his hatred for Klaus on Hope Mikaelson. Plus who gave Alaric The Right to Tarnish Klaus Mikaelson’s Memory By Writing a Book About all the Awful Things He Did? Because of that Book The Students at The Salvatore School don’t really Trust her and Just Like Alaric They Fear Her Power.

It took centuries for klaus to become the person we see in season two. Hope didn't have someone like mikael as a parent yet was demonstrating those tendencies before she even became a werewolf
      She's crazy
